After four years of work, with multiple announcements and delays , Soko G-4 Super Galeb , 1/48 scale resin kit by AEROPOXY is finally ready. First kits will be presented at Belgrade model Show, "10th. New Year's Cup", december 16.-17. at Belgrade Aviation Museum. Hope it's well worth waiting for

Scale modelling contest "DANUBE 1255", organized by scale model club IPMS Novi Sad, with the support of the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad, was held past weekend, with the participation of more than a hundred modellers from Slovenia, Croatia, Republic of Srpska / Bosnia and Herzegovina , Hungary, Macedonia and Serbia.
A variety of beautifully built and presented models , reviewed and assessed by the jury , at the end of the contest day, awards and special prizes are handed out to best modellers.
The main sponsor of the prize fund for youth and special categories in the competition, was "ZVEZDA", company from the Russian Federation.
We thank all competitors and modelers for visit and participation, hoping to see you at the next "Danube 1255" event in Novi Sad.

Colonel Miodrag P. Tomić, one of the first six Serbian pilots, without a doubt the most successful of them all, had a long piloting, aviation, officer’s and commandant’s carrier.
He finished the Great War as the most experienced Serbian pilot, with the rank of Lieutenant, with three aerial victories, of which two are not confirmed.
He remained in the service of the Air Force of Kingdom of Yugoslavia (officially Vazduhoplovstvo vojske Kraljevine Jugoslavije) until the April War in 1941. He had various duties.
He flew actively on all types of planes that were used until the mid thirties. Since 1939 he was Adjutant to the King Petar II Karađorđević.
In the April War 1941. he was captured and taken to the German PoW camp.
After the war he refused to return to Yugoslavia and emigrated to United States, a homeland of his wife. He died in Chicago in February 17, 1962.

Sliding canopy part glued with epoxy, and whole airframe sprayed with Humbrol satin cote, more will follow after drying.

Humbrol satin cote applied, will leave it to dry till tonight,

Nearly finished, wrong oriented Dutch roundell(Thanx BeeJee) on wing topside corrected, Humbrol Gloss cote oversprayed , clear canopy parts glued, using UHU plus two component epoxy ( its clear and strong, just need 24 hrs to set). Just antena wirring need to be done.

WARNING ! the wing roundel is wrong placed.
Look at the fuselage roundel how it suppose to be.
Yeah, Czech roundell syndrome... that's a case when you grow up as a modeller on KP kits way back in late 1970's.
Thanx, its not too late to soak the decal and orrientate it as should be, :-)
