Tupolev's airframe was sprayed with gray primer, then polished, And first coat of white paint, Now, day or two of drying, and aluminium/silver will be sprayed.

As far as i know, Hot Shots movie Gnat's were two seater HAL AJEET's, not single seater ones. So, new Airfix 1/48 scale will be more adequate.

1/48 scale resin Folland Gnat F. MK I ( fighter, single seater) is finnished. No more rumours, its ready for market. Decals for British Ministry of Supply, Suomen ilmavoimat-Finnish Air Force and Yugoslav Air Force.

Probably roll down both sides, clear canopy part is too long to slid on just one side.

Hi, Hope some Spartan Cruiser samples will be available at Telford SMW. IK-2 front windshield was fixed and canopy sides were car door type, flexible perspex panel sliding down into the fuselage side wall. RGDS Supercuber
