  1. Great work on the big Growler. I have one of these in my 'to-do-one-day' pile.
  2. Yep. The decal sheet says it got its kill in Nam when it was an F-4E. You should definitely get it. It's a great sheet and the only 1/32 F-4G sheet I'm aware of that is currently available.
  3. very nice paint job on this Phantom!!
  4. Great thread guys. I just picked up my kit from Hobby Lobby and ordered my sheet from Speed Hunter. I think I'm going to do that Mig killer OT jet!! What are you guys using for references? There just isn't much out there on the F-4G and I missed out on the Reid Air Phantom Guide before it sold out. Anyone know of a source for that book or another of similar quality on the F-4G?
  5. Wow, those are awesome!!! Can they obtained anywhere??
  6. I'm pretty sure I have the Afterburner Aggressor sheet with the 1/32 options if you think you can use it.
  7. Get the Viper Guide book from Reid Air Publications. They have one for the A/B and the C/D and both are way better than the DACO book on the F-16.
  8. I'd try Speedhunter or Carcal.
  9. I haven't been there in a few years but I do remember the windscreen looking a bit yellow. I just looked at some pics of it on airliners.net and you can even see it in those pics.
  10. I got mine last week. I'm late to the party, but this book is just incredible. The photography is superb and I can't get over the access they gave you!! Flipping through the pages makes me feel like I was there. Well, almost. I'd much rather experience flying in a fast jet myself but looking at your pics is pretty good, too!! Thanks for another great product!!
  11. Awesome!!! I've been wanting those New Orleans Desert Storm jets FOREVER!!!
  12. I just found this book by Reid Air Publishing!! The modern super hornet guide I have a few others of his and they are incredible. I can't believe I didn't know about the super hornet book until now.
  13. Very nice work on the A-10, and I think the photography is great too.
  14. AWESOME!!!! I've never seen these jets but they look really neat. Sign me up for this sheet.
  15. By the way, yes, I am talking about the K-Falls jet. 547 is its number. The Oregon on the tail should be orange, but on the decals he printed it as red. Thanks again.
  16. OK, Jake. Thanks for taking the time to respond. I guess I learned a lesson the hard way to do better research on a product and manufacturer before spending my money. The funny thing is I don't even think Carcal believes that the colors are wrong. Oh, well. Lesson learned. Thanks again for all that you do.
  17. Hey, Jake, with all your F-15C jets you are drawing, would it be possible for you to do a sheet with the Oregon ANG CAG jets? I know Carcal put those jets on a sheet recently, but they're wrong. They used red instead of orange on the tail. I would like to build that jet for my coworker, but if I use the decals with the wrong colors, he will notice. The Carcal sheet is also missing some of the caution markings, and that Iowa-shaped thing under the wing isn't on the sheet at all. I really feel like I wasted my money. I know how much you care about accuracy, so it would be great if you would
  18. The Oregon is very clearly orange, not red. Check out this picture. http://www.airfighters.com/photo/95093/M/USA-Air-Force/McDonnell-Douglas-F-15C-Eagle/78-0547/ Besides, the colors for that group are orange, not red. I have some patches my coworker gave me. If you need pics, I can probably get them for you.
  19. Man, that is impressive work. What kind of reference material do you have? It's a shame there isn't a good book on the Super Hornet like the Daco or Reid Air Publising books. I can't wait for more updates.
  20. I was planning on building one of these for my coworker, but man that's alot of cash for a 1/48 jet!
  21. Is there any way you can provide an insert to correct the mistakes on your Oregon National Guard F-15 sheet? The CAG jet has the wrong colors on the tail. On the sheet the Oregon is red but on the real jet is orange. Is this an easy fix? A co-worker used to fly for that group and I really want to build him a model for his birthday. But he'll notice the decals are the wrong color. Thanks for any help. I really hope this is an easy fix.
  22. Looking forward to this! I really like all of your books. You've surely set the new standard when compared to the Squadron walkarounds or DACO books.
  23. It looks like you scanned pages from a book for the pictures of the real jet? I can't imagine the author of that book would be too happy about that. Nice build, though.
