  1. I liked it the way it was, but this.....is even better  :)
  2. I bought a can of ELO some time ago, and found it useful in breaking down paint (in my lacquer thinned enamels Mr. Color/Testors model masters); while removing a coat of paint from a current build to make it the correct pattern I found that while the paint was coming off, so was the glue. I use Tamiya extra thin, and it reopened the seam on top and bottom as cleanly as if I'd used an xacto blade; well almost. If you have build you'd like to tear down and re-do...ya might give ELO a shot....and no smart alecks...no the Electric Light Orchestra; although they did have some good tunes.
  3.   I'm in love, that F-2+ is looooooaded...to da max... My What if, is limited to "What if I could do that" :(

  5. 3 Humvee's on one exercise......I don't know who but it's carpet time for a few folks....even with materiel failure somebody's answering a lot a questions.
  6. If anyone wants to know how it feels to have a size 22 in a size 19 mouth...ask me...I'm thinking of Everybody loves Raymond and confusing it with AD...jeeez I'll go home and stay there for a while.....wait I am home Ok ill just shut of the computer. If I get dumped on I got it coming for this one. Added: I goofed I think because I probably had Jeffrey Tambor and Peter Boyle switched in their roles. I'm not much on Network TV these days since CATV has so much sports on it.
  7. When ya gonna fly it, it looks like it could and should....I mean it looks just that good. Outstanding work my good man.

  14. similar to the one in the link I got a blast from the past today as I watched as long as I could and followed a Beechcraft Bonanza with the Butterfly tail. Beech Butterfly Bonanza
  15. My best wishes that you rest in blissful eternal peace Ms. Roberts. She was a very important piece of "Arrested Development", IMHO without her the show wouldn't have had as much appeal; as though the part was written for her only.
  16. Another great talent if this is possible gone too soon. May he rest in eternal peace. My condolences to his family, close friends, and most loyal fans. Like the Righteous Bros sang If there's a Rock-n-Roll Heaven you know they got a helluva band, well another great one has been added. I was a fan, and like most of his music; his career was varied and productive.
  17. 2 lb test monofilament should work...just be careful lining it up on the curves.
  18. The F7F has always intrigued me, I may give that a try....depending on reviews...yup another hummin Grumman, Those guys know how to make good planes (in the Iron works days especially).
  19. Two ladies walking down the street come upon a gent who offers them a choice; a Texas Oil man single, or a can of Tamiya AS-12, the blonde ask her friend a red head which should they take, red says the Tamiya, why says the blonde, red replies Texas Oil men are cheap honey, that can of AS-12 is worth a mint!!!. :D B) No worries I'll get me 'at and coat....
  20. OUCH!!!!......give it time, like most electronic devices...time and advances will bring down the price, as for printing decals...will it be able to produce the same quality as folks like microscale, cartograph, etc.; at this point it's easier/cheaper to hand over $15-20 or less, and move on.
  21. Very interesting.....maybe not for those who want to spend less time, but the detail does look very nice Spanish School Detailing This also leans toward the current debate of pre-shading v black basing ADDED: The debate as to which is better...I'd like to think the one that works best for the individual doing the build is the best one ;) .
  22. Thank you so much....it looks to be the same sheet, just with Revell's stamp on it.
  23. I find myself in a bit of a big OOOOOOPS!!!. I've had a Monogram AV-8B in my stash for a while, now that I've decided to get into an easy build..I can't the instruction sheet is missing along with decals, the decals I can replace easy, but I need the instruction sheet for reference...no sense in taking anything for granted although the kit looks straight forward. If you happen to have one could you contact me and we'll see how to get me a copy. I went to the Revell website...but it's not offered in the kits listed. Cancel request....I found one
  24. There's enough that goes unreported to fill two city libraries... ;)
