  1. Excellent and thank you!!! I've just pm'd you my address, let me know if it didn't reach you.
  2. Hajo L. The best kit number I can give you is Revell 4583, 1/144 B-52G. If you have that scale with the Statue of Liberty (which is mainly what I'm trying to find), would you be willing to part with them?
  3. Hello forums, I'm looking desperately for 1/144 B-52 decals from Griffiss AFB. Mainly I need the Statue of Liberty tail art. Revell has made a B-52G with this option in the past. I'm out of luck finding a kit or the decals for sale. So I'm looking to see if maybe someone has a set they didn't use. Thank you!
  4. Does anyone happen to have any Sprue Brothers 1/48 SH-3 High Vis decal leftovers they are willing to part with? I am specifically looking for the USS Forrestal set from the hi-vis sheet that has several sets included. I know they are not a cheap sheet so I'd be willing to pay, just was hoping to avoid $30 for a sheet that I'd use one set from with no use for the rest. Thanks!!
  5. I placed the order for the decals. They look excellent, and the guy responded lightning quick to my Paypal request! I can't remember what the kit cost the first time around but it was indeed pretty cheap. I got this one on ebay $13 with combined shipping on a Tamiya 1/20 Benetton Ford B192 kit. Nothing like adding to the inventory. What paint brand/colors did you use for the body of your kit?
  6. Thank you SO VERY MUCH for the link! Yeah, I remember "?", "Re?", even Joop! (was that in '97?). Just not a fan, especially after buying one model twice ($). I figure I am this much into it, might as well go the extra dollar to make it look the way I like it best. Looking into the link now, I'll keep you posted, and thanks again!!!
  7. Hey builders, I just re-bought the Revell/Monogram Williams FW 19 (the original was left at my parents' house over 10 years ago and mistakenly thrown out after a basement flood). Now that I have bought the model twice and invested this much money so far, I would like to dress it in Rothmans decals instead of the silly "?"s. I've searched high and low, even thought I hit it on e-bay from a seller in China claiming that the decals were indeed 1/24 scale for this very model. A closer look at the image provided showed they were 1/20 scale!! Anyone know if these decals are made to fit the William
  8. I remember they ran the ? mark, and also Re?, but I seem to recall they also ran the blocks, like Marlboro did so often. I'd take that set over the ? if I am remembering accurately. Though it would be nice to have the full Rothmans set.
  9. Thank you so much for the tips! At one time I had the Revell FW19, but that was while living at home. Parents have a tendency to not see the trees for the forest, and toss things that are seemingly unimportant when their kiddos move out. Woops!! Anyway,I understand the issues with selling the sponsor along with the kit, but what a horrible choice of decals for such a gorgeous car. A question mark?
  10. Hello all, I started doing some research to find a Williams FW18 kit as driven by Damon Hill in 1996. I was hoping to cut down the time involved to see if anyone knows where to find one. So far the best I can do is the Revell FW19 kit, which was driven the following year. Thanks, happy modeling! Mark
  11. Awesome suggestions, links, and examples! Thanks!! The quest is on. On the subject of space, we recently moved and I boxed up all of my so far unattempted kits. Mine is not only a matter of space but time these days. I am starting to feel like I fit in with the group of this forum, and could be able to take a picture of my amassing wall of unbuilt kits.
  12. Hello all, I am looking to home-build one of those nice display cases that you see in the hobby shop. You know the ones: glass sides, glass shelves, five to six-ish feet tall. Are there any good blueprints out there? Are they sold anywhere for maybe just an arm, not also a leg? Thanks!
  13. Thanks so very much for the great info, especially on how to modify the Hasegawa crew. They do look a little dated relative to the time frame I would like to make the scene!
  14. Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone has done any of AMT ERTL's 1/16th NASCAR kits. I did two kits as a kid: The Richard Petty STP Pontiac, and Kyle Petty's 7Eleven Thunderbird. However, as a youngster, they were built and played with, and are now long gone. After just having seen "Stroker Ace" on TV, it reminded me of those kits, and I was curious to see if anyone had built them and had some pictures. Just trying to travel back in time! Thanks!!
  15. Very nice pic, drhornii, and thanks!!
