Hello, I've sent you a PM, contact me if you need more help 😄

Hello everyone, here's my Tomcat, exquisite kit from Tamiya, the best I've build so far. A lot has gone into making this one, from conversion set (for the late A model), decals, photoetch, resin and so on. If you need any more info ask away! Thanks (sorry for the links, but for the love of God this forum is aweful when it comes to uploading stuff, tried 10 different types of links and not a single one work) https://i.postimg.cc/1RNYQ0LL/1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/W1RVVbW7/10.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/cCrWxKGF/11.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/g0mPwtPX/12.jp

I have the pleasure to present to you the finalized product. We ship worldwide, prices are 90 USD or 70 Eur for the big one (1/48, big 1/72 and some 1/32). 70 USD or 55 Eur for the smaller one (1/72 and smaller 1/48). As you saw, the stand can be used for multiple things, during building, decaling, scribing, painting, and can also be used for transport during a model show. You can order it sending a PM here, or on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/RS-Finemodels/719032628175119 ) -

There is way too much things on this stand as it is, adding more would make it hard to read and not useful. We are in the early stage of projecting and scratchbuilding aid with magnets, angles and all. More on that later :D -

Hello, The working stands are coming along nicely. Now they look more like a real product :)/> We are still waiting for some bits and pieces, but tomorrow they will be finished. We would like to hear what you think, any suggestion would be great. -

Some more photos. Bases are CNC machined and finished by hand. Still a lot of work to do but we are doing a small series, so if interested, contact us to reserve one. -
In flight stand for aircrafts by RS Finemodels

Hey Ken, well the wooden one should fit nicely a WW I plane, or maybe a classic one. The more modern ones will be done with the same color and will be available in a couple of colors. The plexiglass will be done shortly and I will post photos of that. As for the prices, they are not formed yet, we have to calculate it in order to give the best deal for you. The idea is 20-25 USD for the painted stand, but we are not sure yet. The plexiglass one will be for sure a couple of USD more, I don't know how much but it will be more, since the material is not that cheap. The wooden one will be in pa -

Hello guys. Here's the second prototype. It's one done for the more modern ones, with straight edges and aggressive look. All done in dark gray graphite paint. We will make more dimensions, shapes and colors, so everyone can choose what they like. Also we will have the option to add your name to the stand, engraved or printed, or the aircraft type, name, number, squadron, whatever you like. Full plexiglass ones will be available too. What do you think? -

Hi Ken. Sure it can be done but clear plexiglass is not cheap especially the 15-18mm foe the base. But if someone is willing to pay the price we can do it for sure -

Hehe, we didn't think about it, either of us are Star Trek fans. We will make a couple of shapes and colors for you to choose from. -

Hi, we will. We put inside of the plane a wooden block and secured it. From the outide its a fine screw. But we will make some more securing options -
In flight stand for aircraft kits. Wooden base, gloss coated. For modern planes it will have a different shape and a few colors to choose from. This is the 1st test, the plexiglass will be polished even more for a transparent finish.

Hello, I'd like to present to you a project me and my friend are doing, it's a working stand for all types of aircraft, we encountered an interest here at home, so guessed that you guys would love to see it. I think it would be an essential tool for aircraft modelers, you can position the aircraft as you like, up down, right left, every angle you want, you secure it and can work on it as you wish, imagine how easy scribing on this would be. Also this stand can be used to transport the models on shows since it's so secure and soft, ideal for this kind of thing. If covered with some tissue

Hello, I've received the Hobbyboss F-14D 1/48 kit, and after the huge failure I had with the Hasegawa one I think I would give it a 2nd try and build the HB one. Now, I manage to get out of the Hasegawa Tomcat the Aires cockpit but it's a F-14A version. The wheel wells should fit on the Hobbyboss kit? And the biggest concern, does the Aires F-14D nozzle set for Hasegawa fit on the Hobbyboss Cat? I can't find any info on the net and I don't want to buy the nozzles if there is a chance it will not fit. Anyone tried it yet? Thanks guys, Sandro

dammit, so a 747-8 would be a "what if" ... so between the 200 300 and 400 what model kit is the best and easiest to build, can be a 1/200 too, I don't mind

Hello, I see that there are a few model kits for the Boeing 747, Revell and Zvezda caught my eye. Which one is better? I see that both have the 747/8 version, Zvezda is better engineered but have some minor issue with the lines, and Revell is somewhat more accurate but I think harder to build. I saw also the Revell /400 version and other. So, I'm looking for a 747 that has a good fit and details and that can be represented with KLM decals, any idea? Thanks

Oh, thanks! It turned out that the Vallejo Blue angel blue is FS 25102, so a semigloss shade of that color...well thanks :)
-
FS *5102 is not a valid FS code, maybe the "*" should be a number, because all FS codes have 5 digits

I think resin is useless in this case. PE is the best way to do it. http://amurreaver.m-fix.ru/?p=8 I just installed six of this in my F-16 and I have to say they are amazing, a bit difficult to put together but the effort is paid back.

Hi, I'll spray the roundel for the Israeli Barak. I don't know which blue shade to use. The only one I have home that should do the work is "Blue Angel" blue, but it doesn't seems right. Any idea which color I have to use? I prefer Vallejo, or gimme the FS code or whatever information you have... Thanks, Sandro

One last update for today. The cockpit is almost done, I've added some decals to make it more "busy looking" (Used 1/48 and 1/144 spare decals)
