Thnx for letting me know bro! It's been fixed! and I changed the shade of red to a brighter one Now let's see some tail boom evolution pics Then the wash And decals cause I wanted to see the whole thing! Regarding the weathering for this particular Viper, I know it should be clean and well entertained beeing the "flag ship" but I wanted the used look! so I went with a "hard" wash to help that look!

It came out a bit to dark, but I think it is cause I painted over the gray and used Insignia red, I think I'm gonna change the red and will use white underneath

I worket on the tail boom cause I wanted to have a glance of the scheme, the building proces went pretty straight forward and no filler was needed, just a bit of CA and some sanding, well a bit than "some" but overall the fitting is really good! I used "Brass" instead of gold cause I didn't have any! but I like the result! Then I used Model Master 36375 for the main paint and only the first layer is applied on the pics Some tonal variations are gonna be applied later on, and off course the red stripe whic

So this is gonna be my first "serious" try at helos and I'll be posting the WIP here to learn as much as possible! I'm pretty sure is gonna be way down the site's standards but I'll do my best to pull a decent model out of this really nice kit. It's gonna be OOB and I don't really know a lot about helos. If I succed I might build it's brother the Huey Venom, but we're far away from there yet! So the box looks as you know And I'll try to paint it like this I have started adding the PE, and I was surprised as how good it is! the fit is almost per

The dio is looking awesome!! any decission on the camo yet?

I kinda like more the two grays camo, IMHO it blends better with the whole scene, the brown camo, althoug is really nice, I find it out of place for some reason! just from a viewer's perspective!

Excellent! as usual!!! great job bro!

I'd go for a greener look, I agree that yellow or orange does something and it does not look coherent with the rest of the cabin. It is nicely painted but togheter with the rest it looks kinda awkward. Just my 0.02

Sorry I forgot to mention it! yes it's the 1/72nd scale! thnx for your comment! -
This is the Hobby Boss kit, I only added a coupke of Fujimi pilots since they were not provided and were needed to be able to make the in-flight display! I did this one as a present to my nephew, that's why it has a "Jlo" mark on the tails cause that's his nickname! Hope you like it as he did!

You are right! I didn't use the Fairy-Hobby windshield, because somehow I managed to ruin it during the cutting process, that's why I left the canopy open! -
Insane Oliver!!!! is the folding mecanism strong enough to hold the blades by itself?

I finished this model about a year ago but just now I realized I didn't post it here. I was kind of documenting the build but after the Photobucket thing everything went south for this model I used lots of aftermarket to make it as pretty as possible! for the first time I was looking for accuracy not so deeply but I wanted it as close as possible! I started with the academy kit Wolf pack Su-30 MK Flanker cockpit set Wolf Pack Su-30 MK Flanker update set Quickboost correct nose cone Fairy Hobby Vacuum canopy Brassin Tires resin exhaust (don't know the b
