But even stretched sprue will show up on a finished model. Might just go down the LHS and see what inspires and hope it's not a dog of a kit! Going from internet reviews the Monogram P-36 looks like just the kind of thing I'm after.

Living far from home and all my modelling supplies these days, and not having anywhere to spray or otherwise paint models, I was considering doing a bare-bones build without using paint or filler. Just for the challenge... Has anyone seen much done like this, as it's quite a hard topic to find anything about. Considering a small budget too, I'd like a 72nd kit that goes together reasonably nicely (and so will look good finished "naked"). Any suggestions? Gurney

Hi All, I bought a second hand Classic Airframes Baltimore which was supposed to come with decals from both the RAF and Foreign versions (CA4139 and CA4140), however it has arrived with none. I've been in touch with seller and he doesn't have the correct decals for either kit, so I'm wondering... Does anyone have spare decals from a CA Baltimore that they could lend me on a permanent basis? I don't mind if its for either version, but to have some would be very nice. Thanks in advance, Ryan

To be honest, I have no idea what any of you are on about! But if you want to share the glue...!!! I don't know much about the variation in Mustangs, especially the early ones. Would it be possible to do it up in RAF markings, or alternatively what would be required to make it a F-6B (apart from the obvious cameras)... Is there anywhere on the net (I have looked unsuccessfully) that describes the differences between the versions from NA-73 to NA-99? Happy new year all, Gurney

I gather from reading around that there's inaccuracies such as a P-51B wing, the carburettor intake is wrong (too narrow or broad??) the radiator bath is wrong..... So...what can be made from the kit with any degree of accuracy?? Gurney

Cheers Leon - much appreciated mate! Andre - thanks for the numbers too. I know that not every used FS colours, but that was what I could see was written on the sheet on a review of the kit. I just couldn't make out the numbers. Thanks guys, Ryan

BUMP Or if anyone could just tell me the FS numbers for the camouflage???

Hi all, Merry Christmas! Just got a Classic Airframes Fokker D.XXI "Dutch Defender" (4150) but without the marking sheet/decal placement. Does anyone have a copy they could email me? Seasons Greetings! Ryan

Any ideas anyone? British Interior Green or US IG? Gurney

Also, being ex-Dutch examples, what would the interior colour likely have been? US Interior Green, British Interior Green (Humbrol 78) or something else? Gurney

OK...sorry guys...let me try again. Going to be converting to a DB-7B!!! Intending to do A28-6 (Japanese Ghost Producer) which is shown in this pic here... http://www.adf-gallery.com.au/gallery/Bost...CG_2A28_6_16_24 SO if anyone has details on what is required for a conversion - I sort of know the general gist of add the vents and exhaust port, but as for exact locations...any suggestions? Gurney

Hi all, Looking at doing this conversion from the AMT A-20B to an RAAF DB-7. I've found a couple of good build articles on HS, but there's still some outstanding questions, such as what is the positioning of the vents on the engine cowlings? Does anyone have a decent set of plans that I could find this on? Regards, Gurney
