  1. I just picked up a Eduard royal class Fokker D. VII off eBay, but the is no instruction manual. Anyone out there have the kit and willing to make a copy?
  2. Liquidating some of my stash. All starting at very reasonable prices. AVGBob's eBay Listings
  3. What do you guys do to get motivated? I have had been on a model building hiatus due to work and my personal life. Now that I have time to get back into it, I just am having one heck of a time deciding what to build. Any advice?
  4. Good point. Way to go Tamiya and devalue those AccMin. kits. More cheap kits for me! I still think they could have made a better choice. There are so many aircraft that are poorly kitted or not kitted at all. Why would you pick a plane that has already been done. And done pretty well IMO.
  5. So is the IL ANG plane a possibility? I would buy at least a half dozen sheets in 1/32 and 1/48.
  6. Well, AVGBob breaks down into AVG and Bob, my name. The American Volunteer Group otherwise know as "The Flying Tigers" are hero's of mine. I have always been inspired by this group because of the fact the put themselves in harms way to defend a part of the world against Japanese imperialism that most had only seen on a map. To me, another amazing aspect of their courage comes from the fact that the made incredibly fantastic use of outdated p-40's  (which in my opinion, is one of the most beautifully ugly planes of all time) flying against some of the most technically advanced combat plane
  7. What Roden kits are you looking for? I have a few, and a couple as Encore kits. Pm me if interested.
  8. Anything on the ILL ANG plane. See, told you it was cool! I know the pic quality is not the greatest, but I'm sure you can work your magic. Just wondering.
  9. How can you not! I don't usually play, but over half a billion! Come on! We all put in a dollar at the yard (about 16 people). One guy wasn't going to put in and he even decided against it and threw in a buck. (He didn't want to be the only one at work on Monday!)

+1 I agree with the posts above.
  11. I do. Here ya go. And one of the Peoria Chief. The spinner was painted bronze, as was the squadron I.D. number.
  12. Want to add a few here: jm190 mp88 mgrandison
  13. Wow, didn't know that. You learn something new everyday! In the US, they were talking about dropping Saturday and Monday service, but that didn't go over very well from what I heard.
  14. Ok, I thought this thing would go pretty fast at the price I had up, but lowered it again. It retails for double this without the sidecar and .35mm needle conversion. Make an offer!
  15. Lots of good looking models in attendance. Wish I could have seen it in person!
  16. What about IL ANG? Where's the love? They were cool. Big "Peoria Chief" on the side, bronze painted spinner. I think they looked awesome, but my opinion may be a little biased.
  17. This is true, but it has never really bothered me. The added noise, in my opinion, is not that bad. But the PowerJet Lite is a really good choice, just a bit more expensive. If I had the money to get that one, I would.
  18. I think my initial asking price was a bit high. Price drop bump.
  19. Try Silly Putty. It works much better for me.
  20. Why does it matter that it's Saturday? You don't have mail service in Canada on Saturday?
  21. My suggestion: Iwata IS850 - Smart Jet. I have one and love it. It is at the top end of your budget though. Link to Amazon customer reviews
