  1. I know it might be a stupid question but can You explain me what exactly McClusky award is and what it means when the squadron is awarded?
  2. If that plane is similar to Polish Viper I guess it's 8. Four under the fuselage, and four others on the spine.
  3. I see similar to mine way to do scratchbuild CFT: Right now it looks more accurate You had the same problem as me with this shape. It's not easy to profile it correct. But it is always nice to see some good job making own hands Man
  4. Tiger15, those maintanance pictures are awsome!!! Thanks and please paste more
  5. Thanks for pics Gbuesche. PM sent to You Have You noticed Phoenix trolley under JSOW?
  6. I forget to mention, that I already used Google and I have on my HDD these few pictures Thanks anyway Murph ;)
  7. Hello I'm looknig for some reference shots to do model of this kind of ordnance. Any help would be priceless
  8. David, I have the same problem. I'm going to build this one. I have couple shots from the websites. On of the polish photographers took some pics at RIAT '93. This material was printed in Poland in "Przegląd Konstrukcji Lotniczych" back in the 94 I guess. But all shots are close up mailny tail section. One guy from Holland who paste a photo on arliners.net send me close up picture of nose section. So I can recognize crew members names on the canopy rail and tweekers names on nose landing gear bay dors. I can send You this info If You want. I also would like to have some more reference shots
  9. Thank You for kind comments. You can also fallow this thread at Viper II Group Build but I think not everybody looking there so this is some progres here My work is going as usually – very slow so my intention to finish model before 2007 end failed. I'm still working on. This is sheet containing two vents which are located just after main landing gear bays at the bottom side of engine cover. This sheet is pretty OK, but I think it will be better when the net mesh is smaller so I have to do other one sheet. As You can see each vent contains three parts. Two frames and one basic element.
  10. Thank You Guys for hot words about my job I can’t exactly remember how did I cut it, but it wasn’t hard to achieve. Simple blade and file and that’s the way it is In fact, yes. It was almost 3 years ago. I made if of plastic old bank card. The RWR (single) antenna was made of plexiglass. After I show photos of really polish Viper (I started model a year before first flight of first polish F-16) I had to change it, so antennas are new, made of plastic. I’m going to screw some rivets on tail. It’s “bold†right now After many experiments I tint it using two paints. T
  11. I'm shocked lookin' at the tempo of Your work Your Viper looks nice
  12. Hello there This is my office. Little bit narrow and tight as compared to Yours. But for me is OK at this time. And this is most important thing. The F-14 books stash. Notice: no model stash
  13. Any difference accept the cover between these books?
  14. Hello everybody I decided to join to Viper II GB. Most of You probably know my work on Polish Viper. I’ve been working on it over two years. I hope to find more motivation joining here. Below You can see review of this long work. I learned much since start of this model. Unfortunately it is Academy kit. I should pick up Hasegawa or Tamiya one at the start of this build. I also hope to finish it before April Enjoy
  15. Hmmm, Hans I've got Your last email few weeks ago and I answered. Did You get this message? Yes, I'm alive. I didn't post because I'm modelling a lot :D I'd like to finish this model before new year begin. You can find few similar words like these in this thread before :) All because my work is very sloooooow and I can't estimate work ends ;) I don't have new photos. I can only write some about progress. I'm working on Viper (nose & cockpit section and jet inlet) surface. Many new panel lines, rivets, screws and other details like vents. I'll try to post some shots soon. I pro
  16. I think it is not a slat. Look at that hinge. F-14 slat is not equipped with it. Also not a spoiler - it is to big.
  17. Not to me. I can't find it on Tomcat :D Which part of the F-14 wing is it? Can somebody tell me?
  18. This is curious to me. I fund it on the ebay. What You think, is it really Tomcat part? Link to the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/F-14-TOMCAT-WING-PART_...1QQcmdZViewItem
  19. Nothing much? I think You know well that this is a big think. You're the man Skuki. I like Your work a lot
  20. Guys This is another special moment for me. Because… it works! Here You are. Right side speed breake plates of F-16. Already done and almost ready to set it up to the fuselage.
  21. Hi Guys Afer few trials I achieved this effect. This is new sheet of speed breakes: Tomorrow I’m going to set all parts together. This plate is something special and unusual. This is rail for LAU-129 for the wing tip of Viper. Sheet contains two of them: Better and more accurate AN/ALE-47 sheet (for other modelers ): And this one I made for my buddy Maxek from TOMCATSKY Group As You can see He’s working on Sea King :) I hope You’ll like it.
