  1. Meng makes a weapons set with the ACMI pods in it. Very nice and for the price cannot be beat.
  2. one piece seamless which eliminates the filling and sanding and difficult work in dealing with the plastic parts. Look at it 15 minute prep and install vs several hours of work and days waiting for the putty to dry.

  5. I had a customer question this week on how much of the fuselage splitter plate lip needs to be removed to install our resin intake, as the plastic provides a lip that extends into the back of the splitter plate for alignment. Our resin intakes are flat on the back side and as such the lip that would engage the splitter plate need to be modified removed. The question posed was how much to remove?? To determine this, a simple and straightforward way is to place the kit part on to the fuselage and scribe a line in the fuselage lip between the fuselage side and the plate. Keep in

  9. Not as far as intakes are concerned that I am aware of. IF there is a panel line or vent that is different then the modeler will have to make those changes, but as I said I am not aware of any differences in the intakes outside of the NSI vs MCID intakes and the Bulged main gear doors. The logic is costs and has nothing to due with Neglect. Cost to develop the set and cost of the set are the driving force behind the decision. Since the Hasegawa has no intake and not set up for one, the entire intake tract, wheel wells and some small parts have to be provided in a conversio
  10. Hi, I will be making a limited quantity if these sets over the next few weeks, for sale through Sprue Brothers. The F-4G will contain our new highly detailed Long exhaust nozzle ( pics later), and a simplified cockpit tub that eliminates 99% of the cutting and dust mess and fits with the Tamiya wheel well. The F-4B will include a new updated Cockpit tub, New main landing gear doors, Speed brakes and Seats. Look for these kits to be at SB around the first week of December. Thanks so
  11. Yes, The Tamiya intakes are in the testing stage. Look three sets, NSI block 5-32, NSi Block 42-52 and and PW powered jet with heavyweight main gear, MCID large intake for Block late black 30-60 GE engined jets. Kinetic will follow. As for Hasegawa, Sell it and get the Tamiya. IT will be cheaper and give you a better result. Making an intake for Hasegawa kit is a very expensive and a complicated process the way the current kit is made. Sorry, but Hasegawa needs to revise that kit to bring up to modern standards. They provided a full intake wi

  15. First of all they are the correct shape and are accurate as to panel lines, details, and slat mechanism. They were designed using the latest in 3d modeling processes. the old CE are to small from shrinkage, and have completely wrong details. A search of the internet will bring up the issues with the CE and you can find out about our sets over on Largescaleplanes.com in our forum and the build forums. The CE's were hand tooled and looking at the two set is like comparing a 25 year old car to a 2018 model. Wingman's set are copies of the CE set with an attempt to correct the w

  22. The fins are the same size....where there is a difference between the ZM and Academy Phantoms is in the canopy sections. The front is shorter and the rear canopy longer on the Academy than the ZM. The ZM match the respective Hasegawa sections in length. IF you Ade the canopy trim decals too long fo both front and rear, then one set can be used with the modeler trimming the decals to length prior to or after installation. If you make the splitter plates to size the ZM, then there is material to cover the other two makers kits, and they will fit GT Resin splitters as they are the ZM size

  25. Hi Rick No plans at this time. I would suggest getting the Air Scale PE cockpit instrument set for modern jets and just scratch build one or modify the kit part using this set. the panel is flat so should be fairly easy to do. http://airscale.co.uk/store.php#!/1-32-Scale-Modern-Jet-Components/p/58010381/category=15515257 http://airscale.co.uk/store.php#!/1-32-scale-MODERN-JETS-Cockpit-Instrument-Decals/p/59136690/category=16104111 give these a try!
