Every time I see your S-2 Alan, it makes me want to work on mine even more. I guess I will have to bring it to work tomorrow.

1/48 the decals he is after are in the Kinetic Hawkeye 2000 but he doesn't want to buy another kit just for the decals.

Guys I am trying to help a friend out who is looking for a set of Hawkeye 2000 'GreyHawk' decal sheet. He belonged to VAW-120 and wants to build his C2-A for his squadron. If you can help out please let me know. Thanks Donnie

I'm really starting to hate decals. I really should have painted the stripes, I am not happy with how they came out, but since I am this far into it, I am just going to finish it.

Well the left side is finished, still have a lot more to do I will have to do some touch up painting on the stripes.

It's the model master acrylic. I have to go through my cross ref chart and test the color they have listed for the OD.

well I started doing the decals tonight, next time I will paint the invasion stripes. I had to use a lot of solvaset to get the kit ones to conform. Here is where I am at for the night, more will be done tomorrow.

that was the plan, but I think I am now going to do it open.

I need to play around with the camera some more, but the plane is Olive Drab. Here is my first attempt at scratch building. And here it is installed.

managed to scratch build a control yoke last night, I will wait until I get it into the cockpit before pics, I'm afraid to lose this one too. Decals should be going on today.

got her into her color coat, started to do a sludge wash, waiting on it to dry right now, might have to redo the wash, only time will tell. went and cleaned up the wash some, I don't know why the pics show it grey, but it is really OD

Well after spending my bench time last night at the hobby shop setting up the new Vallejo Model Color rack, I didn't get squat done on the mustang. Tonight on the other hand is a different story. Managed to get her in a primer coat. I am really starting to like acrylic paints.

My LHS got a shipment in last night, and sold out in 10mins, not including the 3 bottles I snagged for myself.
