  3. Robert McDaniel is a very good trader, i traded 72nd B-2 kit for one of my kits, when B2 arrived it was missing few parts, i contacted him and he turned around and sended me parts from his spare bagged kit since it would have taken alot of time if he had got Testors to send me these parts. I really appreciated his service with honesty, feel free and confident to deal with Robert. Thanks Rob, Sam747 :D

  8. Yes i am also very impressed with the way Gary performed perscribing and used washes to do panel lines. I really like the results from his efforts and the are mind blowing. I will be using same techniques from now on to scribe/re scribe panel lines and washes to my models. Gary i have one question?, How do you perform rivets or screws on the panels as they keep panels attached to the body of the aircraft and are visible with panel lines, do you just poke to the plastic with needle or you have some other way to re-etch these... Thanks for the supereb article Gary, Sameer "Sam747"

  18. Nice Job Andy!, i am not fan of camo schemes but i have to admit that you did real good job on painting the model. Your 1/72 group shot looks very spiffy!, looks impresive. But one question, what happened to tail plane of B-52?? something dosent looks right. Ive got 4 of these kits on me now, i do remember building my first one yrs back, and man that took me 15hrs to put whole thing togather without paint and decals at that time..I had no consept of painting these models in those yrs... Sam747

Guys, Peter "98Phan" is excellent person to deal with, since my first time dealing with him till now i have done 3 or 4 different trades with him and always he has been such a nice and humble person with excellent trading ethics!, i will be doing my 5th trade with him today and since first time we have become good friends also...Gus you all can have good trust and good faith for Peter "98Phan" and Jane :( Sam747 :D :D
  21. When i was decalling TCA Connie i learned that its not good idea to use decal softner over metallic finish!, i just layed down decals on top of Alclad II without any problems but when i used softner it just gave silvering type of effect!, so i would not recommend to use any decal softner and clear coats on top of any metallic finish. Sam747
  22. Thanks guys for your complements, i really appreciated them. Peter "98Phan" and Tony "rotorheadTX" are excellent guys to deal with. I just came back after meeting Peter twice since yesterday, he is very nice and friendy person, apart from trading we had nice and friendly chat about different models and aircrafts, exchanged some good info too. Sam747  :P
  23. I use Automotive Red glazing putty for all of my filling needs, this stuff works great and dosent shrink!, it also dries in few minutes then hrs, once dried i use 400 to 600 grit wet sand paper to sand it down smooth to rest of the surface. It works for me try it. Its available at most auto paint stores or places like Canadian tire here in Canada and is cheap to buy also, you can get large tube for same amount as small Tamiya putty, milliput and last for ever. Sam747
  24. I run into same problem in my basement, with small particals of dust/lint flying in the air and cusing problems while painting process, Dont on me, I have fan sitting about 10 feet away from my work station facing towards my work station, when i am painting i turn it on at low to mid speeds towards me, what it does is keep slight air flow in the area and no dust particals/lint gets down on the model while being painted. Air flow from fan is not heavy that paint spray from air brush drifts off and cause problems, this trick works for me try it ans see if it does for you too. Sam747
  25. Higg you are doing supereb job with your conversions!, i am very much impressed!. Guy take your time dont rush thats the best i can say from my experience. Its coming togather and lookis like movie Hind! Keep us posted. Sam747
