  2. Hi folks. I am a returning modeler (been away from it for about 15 years give or take). Bought a new airbrush (Paasche VL series) and compressor (Passche 500) along with numerous artist brushes, etc. The questions I have are as follows: 1. What are the better paints to use nowdays? I used testors in the past on my older airbrush but I found it a harder paint to clean. 2. What thinners/retarders would be best to use and do the companies have to be the same for thinner/retarder and paint? I was using just basic hardware store thinners for cleaning my brushes and gun before with no probl
  3. Thanks every1!!! I have been watching some utube videos, Flory Models to be exact. Great stuff there, and lots of other good videos as well. I am sure the art of model building is safe, it would be such a shame to lose an art such as this.   4. Hi folks. Just dropping a line in the forums, familiarize myself with the people and forum layout. I have done models for years then just stopped (about 15 years now)as work and home life just stole all my time. I am 43 years of age and I have some time for this hobby again. I went out and purchased some stuff such as a new compressor (Iawata), paasche airbrush, lots of paints both Tamiya and Testors, brushes, tools and last but not least a model to start with (Revell BF110 G-2/R3). Grand total $478.24....no backlash from the wife as she loves the model hobby as well (she is a muscle car
