Harrier/Viper Fan

I like kinetic, yeah the F-16I kit I build had a few fit issues as well as shape issues but once built I thought it was on par with Tamiya and blows Hase ageing kit out of the water. Then kinetic did a kit no one else did E-2 Hawkeye I got this kit in March and what a beaut of a kit now I want the Hawkeye 2000 to go with it. £45 is a good price too if Trumpeter or Tamiya or Hase did it I be looking at £80 -£100 plus. I don't own any KH or GWH kits but there is a few in there range that takes my fancy but like most things in life bills and other stuff before I can buy kits.

Ok yellow it is. Although would it be inaccurate to paint it black or white? As I don't know about you guys yellow is just as annoying to paint as white. I was thinking battle damage and needed a new nose cone which was either black or white till some one painted it back to yellow? Me and my bright ideas ok eBay time find new decals haha..

I have heard it's not accurate for RAF version as it's missing things. If you go to Britmodeller forums and search there is a few posts on it. But as I don't have the kit or never will as it's expensive I stick with airfix kit.

I am about to start a new project to try and get back into the swing of things as I seem to have lots of plans but no motivation. So I thought I do a build I have been wanting to do for awhile. Hase 1/48 F-8E. Now I decided to get AM decals as the kit ones while nice schemes are thick and the white is not white. So I picked up SS 48-865 VF-53 CAG, now the instructions call for a yellow nose but I can't find a pic of this plane with a yellow nose, black yes, white yes, yellow no. I got the Self adhesive PE sets whats the best way to get the PE from the backing? I tried tweezers and it started to bend and crack the paint on the PE part.

Anyone in the UK know where I can get a Tamiya 1/48 F-16CJ Block 50 kit other than Ebay or abroad? They seem to have dried up which is annoying, starting to wish I never sold mine a few years back now.

Only problem I can see is that the F-16I is a 2 seater.

Having never used PE before it's all new experience which I have to admit I am looking forward to. But what glue to use? I know some say super glue but is there any other glue that's less messy? I have had bad times with SG so am hoping that there might be something else. Also any tips would be great.

I did look at Google but the pics seem blurry on the area I wanted or just too far off. I even tried google map thing that show sat images but I guessing security because I couldn't get too close. Or I am just doing everything wrong.

Does anyone know of a good site that shows pictures of the helicopter area of Camp Bastion in Afghanistan? I am planning a dio and having trouble finding pictures, I am not sure if the Americans and British shared areas? But I mainly need British right now.

I am in need of some help, I was planning on doing a diorama of a scene in Afghanistan I have for this dio: All Airfix so far: Agusta/Westland Merlin HC.3 infantry patrol x3 Vehicle crew x2 Land Rover patrol Quad Bikes & Crew Helicopter Support Now that be a cool dio except no crew for the 2 helicopters. Been searching for hours and I can't seem to find anything but does anyone make 1/48 crew for helicopters? Ouch that's a lot of sanding, you think that fit be better for the cost of this kit. Looks more like a limited run kit.

I need some help, I got a Revell 1/72 Draken I am gonna start to get me out of the rut it be OOB and intend to do it in Swedish colors which is two -tone grey. But Revell will have you mix several colors for this. I rather just use one paint, so does anyone know a good FS match or Humbrol or Xtracrylix match? I done google and either I am searching the wrong thing or there is not anything out there. I am going with wrong search.

I have some questions on colours. I have the Revell Voyager and AMT Enterprise E, for Voyager whats the best Grey for her? I hate revell paints and matching them can be a headache. Also best grey for Enterprise E, I have the Acreation Models Aztec decals coming but a good base paint would help.

Do they need any AM or can they be built straight out the box? And all important question FIT bad or good? Frigate Cruiser

Problem I find is that Kids/teens/adults these days prefer games consoles or PC gaming to doing something creative. I have been into models since I was a young boy and never really get bored of it. I do have my ruts and swaps in genres but I always end up where I started F-16's and Harriers. A lot of my friends when I was growing up also built models and most of the time we ended up having challenges between use. Now they don't have time or lost interest and mainly prefer the gaming world.

Any news on this being for both? Don't want to go in the loft if I don't have to.

Does anyone make a resin 1/48 seat for the revell eurofighter? Got give a kit as a belated birthday gift but the seat is a nightmare and just not want together right.
