  1. I just bought this kit as well as a few add ons. Many of your photos are gone now. But I can se the amount of work you put into your gorgeous model was well worth it. A real stunner. Thanks! MP
  2. I ordered a few hard to find F-104 items and some IK 1/48 F-104 underwing tanks from Misterkit in Italy and got them in a week to the US, and very well packed. I used Paypal and had fast reliable service from this hobby shop
  3. I think the loss of any competition between on line hobby shops is a loss for us consumers. I love Sprue Bros and their awesome service, but if Great Models had the same item it was usually less money. Now we lose that option. Sounds to me like were gonna pay more in the end.
  4. Go for an easy fitting rewarding kit like the Spitfire or Mustang then conquer a big F-15 which is not a shake and bake model IMO
  5. Maurizio The C & H cockpit fits ok on their new nose so I am up grading it to try and look like a 104 office. I used the KMC(True Details)cockpit in the single seat 104G pictured above and it was a week long nightmare to get it to fit. There's just no chance it would ever work on the TF conversion here. By the time you grind it all away to fit there will be nothing left of it. I will either do another camo Luftwaffe bird or Marinefleger jet as I want to use more of this $62.00 decal sheet from Daco. Here is a link to some in process photos of my last 1/32 Starfighter build. Flickr F-1
  6. Maurizio I have started on the same rocky path you started. I am trying to get all the fit problems out of the two piece (new style)C&H nose section first. There are many. Then I will worry about the correct details for the restof the model. I hope we can finish these conversions before the new Italeri 1/32 Starfighter hits the market. I included a photo of a Has.1/32 Starfighter I resently completed as well. Milt
  7. I have been using Xtracolor exclusively for twenty five years and they have changed their color formulas numereous times. I ran out of a RLM 82 in the middle of a model and the next tin was a whole new color, not even close. Just make sure you have enough for the kit or you mix what you have all in one jar if you want an even finish color. It looks like you got a mismarked tin what should have been dark ghost grey?? I buy four to six tins at a time from Hannants and since they give you the whole box from one lot this has cured most my mismatch problems.
  8. Just a semi standard build of a D9 circa Spring 1945, nothing fancy. Eduard interior, Eagle Cals hood & cowl correction and decals, Xtracolor paints & G Factor landing gear. Comments & suggestions are always appreciated. Milt Thanks for looking!
  9. Keep us posted with your progress. The C&H TF-104 conversion is already on my work bench and started. Better build it quick before Italeri does their 104. MP
  10. ChIans of Command by Harold Coyle. A story of a F-111H squadron that goes to war.
  11. Super glue with kicker and Tamiya grey putty as I bought a case of it years ago and have enough to last a long time
  12. Other than the phony paint schemes on almost all the German planes I enjoyed the movie today. The horrific sequences inside the fortresses was something I had not previously seen. The story was a bit thin but it was well told and the caracters stories really connected you to each one. I give it a B+.
  13. I have had the 1/32 Revell Mirage V along with the TAC Scale Dynamics conversion set sitting around collecting dust for fifteen years. Maybe your build will inspire me to get it on the work bench because I too love the Nesher. But man, that old Revell kit sure looks daunting. cant wait to see more. MP
  14. I've been waiting for an F3 conversion for ten years. Please make this a reality.
