The antenna is so we can watch ISR feeds on the multifunction displays in the aircraft. When I get back to work Monday I'll email the DAP guys and ask why they switched the stores pods.

Aaron, I hope the trip down was worth it, sorry we had to rush you off at the end. Dave

Aaron, we are going to be coming out your way shortly if you PM me I'll give you the grand tour when we get time.

The Silent Knight radar is a SOAR only radar, it hasn't hit the streets yet. We were expecting it on our block 2.3 mod for the 47s but testing is still ongoing.

I've been feeding Floyd pics for awhile, the 60 was having a hard time keeping up. You are over near Yakima, right? If so you may hear us over there in 2 weeks -

I was just logging on to post this, it was an awesome flight that will probably never happen again. -

Looks great, I think I'm flying "Easy Money 2" tomorrow night. -
Floyd, added some pics to our PM conversation, they may help.

Hopefully this question is not too late, does the kit address the different position of the front landing gear?

The D and Fs fly with the ramp down. The 240 mount is different than the 50 cal mount that they used in Vietnam. I believe that is the reason they flew with the ramp up. If the ramp was down the weapon would not be able to traverse up very much. -
" It also is better if the paint chips accidentally for it to be silver underneath" Just to clarify Floyd, when the paint chips on the probe it is still black, the probe is actually black carbon fiber that is then painted CARC black. It's the strongest part of the helicopter and can withstand over 12,000 lbs of downward force. I believe there have only been 2 known instances of the probe breaking, one was a total loss of the aircraft.
