  1. Very nice build! By the way, what did you find so awful about this AZ-models kit? I've built their Supermarine Attacker and Vought F6U Pirate in 1/72, but I didn't notice anything very serious
  2. Outstanding build! :jaw-dropping:/> The level of detail is simply amazing! You did really perfect job, I'm looking forward to your next models.
  3. Thanks for your replies, next time I will try the 2-part epoxy and maybe a different kind of ballast with better shape. Cheers!
  4. Hello! I recently came across a problem with nose weights when building the Hasegawa 1/72 F9F Panther. I glued the nose weights into one of the fuselage halves, then glued them together and continued the building process. However, after some time (a week or two), the metal balls which I used as the weights got loose and started running across the fuselage, so I had to take them out. It seems that the CA glue which I used for gluing the weights didn't work properly. Have you ever had this or similar kind of issue with nose weights? What do you use as nose weights and what kind of glue do you us
  5. Thanks again for all your help, fellas, now I'm finally decided to buy me an airbrush ASAP, but regarding this I have another question: What kind of respirator should I use? When working with the spray cans at the moment, I use something like this: I'm not really sure if it is satisfactory or if I should buy some of those which look more like a gas-mask. What kind of respirator do you use?
  6. Thank you for help, now I can really see that airbrushing shouldn't be that difficult as I thought and that with enough practice you can do anything. And btw that Me-262 is wonderful!
  7. I think of buying an airbrush, but since I build mostly 1/72nd planes, i want to ask a (noob) question: Is it possible to successfully airbrush also the camouflages on such small models as the 1/72nd scale? It seems to me that some of the lines are thin and I'm not sure if an airbrush is capable of reproducing them. The last thing I want to do is to spend my money on something I actually won't use, so I would really use some help here.
  8. Thanks for kind comments. The paints I used are Humbrol 149 foliage green and Mr.Color 22 dark earth, the underside is Tamiya XF - 23 light blue. I painted it freehand with a brush and I left it with the gloss clear as the instructions say that this aircraft was highly polished, but I'm going to recoat it with semi-gloss as it seems too shiny to me. Cheers!
  9. Oh my! That's a really AWESOME model, my friend! I built my first model when I was 10 and it looked awkward, but yours is truly magnificent. I just can't keep up with this level of awesomeness, I think I'll give up modeling... Keep up the good work!
  10. Oh my, that is truly AMAZING model! I really love those wood effects on the floats and the prop, it looks very realistic! Cheers!
  11. Absolutely stunning model. I agree that those smoke trails are a great job, they look really amazing. Cheers!
  12. Very nice Zero! I really love the weathering you gave it. Cheers!
  13. Very nice build! How much weight did it need? It doesn't look like it wants to sit on the tail, also the nose looks kinda spacious for adding the weight.
  14. My 1/72 Boomer, kit by MPM's Special Hobby. Photos Any comments or feedback will be much appreciated. Cheers!
  15. Awesome build! I guess it must be kinda big, I have it in 72nd and isn't anything small.
