  1. My bad, miss read your post.. Oz Mods does J model props, as does Brengun ,( molds were from Arma Hobby/ Attack quadron) both of which are very good. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brengun-Models-1-72-LOCKHEED-C-130J-HERCULES-ENGINES-SET-Resin-Set/362672400897?hash=item5470f5aa01:g:y9UAAOSwLmhc-zR9 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ozmods-1-72-C-130J-Hercules-Engine-Nacelle-Correction-set-for-Italeri-kit/303487744728?hash=item46a9477ad8:g:feEAAOSwZyJdWInl
  2. It does take a while, my last order was on April 2nd, and is showing an estimated delivery of yesterday...but that didn't happen. I expect it will be here in the next couple of days. Seller does provide tracking information though. I would say around 2 months, with the current situation, previous orders only took 3-4 weeks. Hope this helps.
  3. Try eBay : https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-48-C-130H-engines-upgraded-NP2000-props-resin-set-by-Bring-it-MLH-485/324057524604?hash=item4b7355697c:g:MK4AAOSwpz9eSCzH They also make a 1/72 scale set. I have several of their C-130 products, and they are top notch.
  4. Jake- Outstanding Phantom!!! I thopught you might go with the 89TFS markings. Absolutely outstanding work sir
  5. The C-27J is in the paint barn, should be out next week. Once I have some pics I will get thm posted.
  6. Very nice herc build there! I always love seeing built Herc kits. I am currently working on a few myself. Since we are on the critique corner, the only thing I can see is that Baltimore never flew the H model, they flew the B E and J models, and are converting to the C-27J.
  7. SIG- Great photos by the way, everyone at the unit loves them. Jake- Yeah can't wait to get you up here to shoot them, once they're painted. There have been some issue with the planes, and that has delayed them, but I heard yesterday they are going with the new tail flash! The rest of markings should be close to what I sent you. actually had 6 C-27'S on the apron the other day, only 4 are ours, but hey they are all here finally! I'll get more info out as I can.
  8. If there is anything else I can help with let me know, it is kind of confusing right now, with Army markings still on the aircraft. They should be painted very soon with the Air Force ANG markings.
  9. The C-27J tail #27012 is owned by the 179AW/164AS, the first US operators of the C-27J. aircraft has not had the ARMY markings changed yet. The Air Force took full control of the C-27J program in october. Still called JCA progam, but now completely Air Force ANG.
  10. Great looking decals Mark! Based on the sprue shoots I have seen, there are several items that would have to be scratch built, or maybe someone would be willing to cast (hint, hint) them. The US C-27's are sent to Waco TX, for upgrade to the JCA standard. US C-27's have several additional antennas, SATCOM, INMARSAT, and a different RWR/MWS suite, than the other C-27J's out there. Still waiting for the USAF markings to be done.
  11. The 164AS 179AW is currently the only US C-27J Operator. The Aircraft are still in US Army markings. The Aircraft will have USAF Ohio ANG amrkings applied soon, but the basic aircraft color will remain the Army gray color (which is a much lighter than USAF AMC gray), until the aircraft go to depot and get a total repaint to the AMC Gray. Once they have USAF markings I will get some pics posted.
  12. We just recieved our 2nd C-27J last night, had a total of 3 on the apron our 2 plus a transient A/C. The ECM suite on the JCA (US) C-27 is quite a bit different than all the other users. Of course they do have the HUD, no inflight refueling, big scanner windows in the back. Has the C-130J cocpit setup and D2100-3 engines. Since Lockheed developed the C-27J as a mini herc, but the deceided to go with the C-130J for the JCA competition. Still have army markings on them even the one that just flew in from the factory in Waco that does the mods. Just saw the Italeri kit previews, and need to orde
  13. There are J-30 models at Little Rock AFB, 50th AS. and now at Dyess AFB, 317th AG. I believe that Yakota Japan will be receiving them as well.As for the ANG Cailfornia ANG 146AW, Rhode Island 143AW have the -30's Maryland 135AG have standard J models. HArrisburg PA has the EC-130J.
  14. Ben- Thanks for the info, I already had the shots posted on the F-100 web site, found them diggin through all the old photos at the base. But still nice to have the rminder of the site, since I had forgotten about that one. Thanks again-
  15. Anyone have pics of Ohio ANG Huns? I am specifically looking for 164th TFS 179th TFG pics, they had yellow tailbands with a script "OHIO" in white. Also looking for F-84E/F, F-80C, F-51D/H, T-28, AT-6, T-33, C-47, C-46, C-54, T-29, A-26. Working on a history project for my squadron, and would be very thankful of for anyone who has pics. Thanks in advance-
  16. Steve- I would love to post photos of the Herc. I think you pictures are outstanding! Some of the best shots I have seen of the Herc! It will be up at Cleveland airshow next weekend, I think they will be flying a Demo there as well, but it is tough when the Blues have Fat Albert doing a demo as well. Glad to see so much interest in the aircraft. makes the work put in worth the effort. ;)
  17. Awesome pics!! I am very pleased that everyone likes the C-130 paint scheme, that was my 1/1 scale special project this. The nose art has all the aircrat that my squadron has flow since being an ANG squadron. I will post some pics, once I have them sorted and resized.
  18. That is excellent work there. getting ready to do that kit for my squadron, 164th OHANG, like the decals, will you be making more? thanks
  19. Looking good there Jake. Can't wait to see the finished bird. Hope you go with the Fargo bird.
  20. Always great to see my squadron aircraft on here. Excellent job!
  21. I recently completed a transaction with Gary F. and I all I can say is Outstanding! :) We started with a couple of kits, and he asked what I was looking for, and eventually grew into several kits. Gary takes the time package everything properly, and is very pleasant to deal with. Gary also wants to make sure that everything got to you and is in A+ condition. So if you see him selling on here, be assured that he will make sure that everything goes smoothly. THANKS!!!!
  22. Anybody got an address for superscale, I would like to get in contact with them and send the sheet I bought as well. Can not really use it anyway, so I may as well send it to them. I noticed that Mucha-me is still claiming that these are "new" sheets, just as the in the one I purchased. Of course they are new, just printed them this morning :) Glad to see that those of us on ARC are spreading the word and warning others about misleading E-bayer's. I thought maybe I was the only one when I got my sheet. So I am out a couple of bucks, but it was bound to happen sooner or later, but at leas
  23. Yeah, I got burnt on a set too, of course the same set is back up for auction, must have made several copies to make some money http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW
  24. Superscale (I think) made a sheet for the AC-130A's, AC-47's AC-119G/K's, and another sheet that had markings when they were in AFRES which also had some Navy and Marine hercs on it. But those are the only sheets that I know of. I haven't seen anything for the Uboats other that what comes in the kits, and they aren't even the right Spectre emblems for the U models. Which bird are you building tail number wise? I am going to build 90-0164 once I finsh my A/E/H models. Gotta love the fabulous four engine fighters!
  25. thanks for the input guys, I will try it out after work tomorrow. Just couldn't pass on the kit, any Phantom, or viper I can get a deal on, I will pick up. Thanks again ;)
