I second Flory washes as well, Oils thinned with mineral spirits are pretty forgiving over an acrylic clear coat as well.

I use lead wire also, if you have a place near you that sells fly fishing tackle you should be able to pick some up there they have various sizes and its inexpensive.

You hit the nail on the head, sports used to be a respite from the daily grind and real life issues. They have sucked all the fun out of it, if I wanted to be lectured to on politics then I'd turn on FOX, CNN or PMSNBC. The sad part is the NFL and most of its players don't even recognize they being played and used as tools to forward an agenda created by the left.

I have the single wheel in 1.00 & 0.65 I love them so much easier to use than the trumpeter one I have, its easier to see what your doing and you have better control, you don't get the wheel wobble you do on the trumpy one, as far as taking one wheel off the double wheel one I'm not sure they are easy enough to disasemble with a small hex head nut on one side and an allen key on the other. I imagine you could take one wheel off but you might need to then place some sort of spacer in its place so you can get it tight enough again.

Very Nice Jon!! I am just about eady to start this kit myself, any pitfalls I should be aware of?

I've used it a lot in the past, to thin it i used to get a jug of distilled water and i added about 4 drops of dawn dish detergent to break the water tension, the paint leaves a pretty fragile finish a and can be easily rubbed away on raised detailed so once its cured a day or so you'll need to overcoat it.

The canopy for the 1/48 Revell Pro Mod ME-410 what an absolute PITA I destroyed the first one and had to order a replacement, A great kit except for that.
