  1. My latest and first for the new year is the 1/72 SovaM Shavit (based on the Gulfstream G550 bizjet) converted to an MC-55A Peregrine which will be operated soon by the RAAF.
  2. Kursad, bumping this one again. While the reference page exists the linked PDFs can't be found. Still after the top/bottom views for options 7 and 8, though all of them would be good for completeness
  3. Robert, These were the shots I used as my reference
  4. The main differences between the B and C were that that early Bs had a search light on the starboard wingtip and they only had a single sonobuoy chute under the rear fuselage. The antenna fit was also different as Niels mentioned. The B's radome was the same size as the C. The L-188 Electra had the smaller radome. The Argentine Bs were not fitted with the search light. I built the subject kits a few years back...
  5. It was posted by 'Aviation in Scale' on FB, he is not alluding to the origins of the image at this stage. Academy is speculation by some followers due to the rendering of the image.
  6. Looks like you will need to drill out the wheels and gear legs and use brass rod to refit them like I did with my nose leg previously. After another move a number of mine are also broken (the ones I had no previously pinned that is) and I am yet to fix them.
  7. I think the Airfix Super Connie kit came with both Radar and blunt noses. If you can find someone who built it with the blunt nose you might be in luck.
  8. Lovely result Jost and beautiful line up of 135s!
  9. Thanks for sharing your progress Fred, watching with interest.
  10. This model usually graces the display case in the 10SQN (RAAF) crew room. I offered my services to restore it after it had been damaged over the years. It is the Italeri C-130E/H kit and while it was dressed up as a H model C-130 it was built as an E model. This is what I started with. Since it was getting a full repaint I decided to make it more H than E by extending the main gear sponsons and adding the ECS intakes which are prominent on the C-130H I managed to make one prop out of the parts supplied and found 3 others in my spares box. 11. Looks good Fred, would love to see how the 757 goes together as well!
  12. A quick scan on Airlines.net show the aft cabin windows present on the MC-130H Link 1 Link 2 Are these what you were after?
  13. This is a Hasegawa P-3C finished as a RAAF AP-3C(EW) using a Hamilton Hobbies conversion set, Quickboost props and a bit of scratch building.
  14. I feel your pain Brother Don, though not as many in 1/72 I only have the started RC-135 and an E-3A. My new house does not have the space for the larger builds so getting back into them has been a slow process with house updates getting in the way. I need to figure a way to display them.
  15. That is looking good Jon, hope you can sort out the decals
