  2. Thanks ! Masking took me a cumulated 3 hours while painting was really straightforward. I think a little task planning can cut down the masking time: for example i have no computer in my attic, so i had to move down quite often to check the instructions and the kit against pictures of the real thing. Then identifying the masks you must use for the darkest grey can be long: there's no indication on the vinyl sheets or on the plan. Once you come to the MSG stage, you know what sheet to use and the masks can be seen on/through the paint, then it gets a lot easier.
  3. Hi ! following my question about colors, here is my attempt to depict this bird. The Eduard MF kit is really great, no need to say it once more. I used the Hobby-Cz vinyl masks The darkest grey is a 50/50 mix of Gunze midnight blue with extra dark sea grey The masks can barely be seen on the model, it's quite tedious when you paint at night Next is Gunze medium sea grey. Masking becomes easier at this stage Last color is Gunze off white. Reverse painting means colors have to be lighter than the intended result. Ok, 3 hours masking + 30 minutes painting + 45 minutes to remo

  6. Hi to all, I've started to build the Eduard MF and I plan to finish it as the grey splinter 7701 in CzAF service. Would someone have an idea of the grey shades to be used for this scheme ? Thanks !
