  1. Allright Miragelovers and kitmakers some more reference. Hope they are of use to some of you! Stuff at the back of the pit
  2. Some usefull pictures of a Mirage IIIE
  3. Nope, nothing usefull, I have been searching trough a lot of boxes full of paper pictures and slides taken in the late eighties and nineties. Lots of Mirage stuff but nothing close-up. The digital walkarounds are all off museum displays. I do have a acces to a real Mirage 5BA that is in pretty good shape where i work :woot.gif:/> Some pictures of a French IIIR (not Mirage 5R !)
  4. Thats it for today, anything else someone likes to see ? cockpit, under carriage, canopy, stores, French mirage details ... let me know Mark,
  5. Bang seat Martin Baker Mk4 (Late Belgian and Chilean Mirages had the MB Mk10 Installed)
  6. Intakes, look at the top and how it curves and not straight like in some kits
  7. Light on top off the wings, something that is also missing in a lot of Mirage model kits No light on the underside off the wings! Also look at the thickness off the trailing edge.
  8. More on that wing to fuselage fairing, hope they get this right. [/url
  9. Mirage wing to body fairing, something that was much simplified on the old heller and esci kits...
  10. Belgian mirages almost always flew with the big 1700L wing tanks
  11. Mirage 5BR . This recce version has differrent camera windows when compared to the French R's. Belgian recce mirages used British Vinten camera's.
  12. Rapport II ECM antennas on the tail(Belgian and Chilean Mirages) a real pain in the *** to scratch...
  13. Belgian, chilean (and i think those from Gabon) mirages have a different keel that has a tail hook, shape is very different
  14. the nose, the 5BA had the pitot on the tip
  15. okay then, some detail pics that might help out (i really want a belgian mirage :whistle:/> :rolleyes:/> ) lets start from the top!
  16. hello Vedran, I personally think it is a very usefull set and has many things in it you will not find in any off the many Hasegawa 104 boxes. maybe some off the stores where available in other kits but i have seen the daco set up close and its very well detailed.
  17. Its not just the nose, thats the easy part. 5B's had a different "keel" with a tail hook. From the early eighties they also had a different shape at the base of the fin. If they don't include that it also means no chilean Elkan either. It are just some small parts to include. It would just be a shame that you can built the rather anonymous 5F and some other versions built in very small numbers and not one off the biggest users of the mirage 5.
