  1. Thanh you! The MCW line looks very interesting. I may have to give them a try. I appreciate the quick help. Jarvis
  2. Other than the Zero line offered by HiroBoy, can anyone suggest a good match for the dark blue used on the Walter Wolf Suzuki RG250 Gamma? Thanks, Jarvis
  3. That's a beauty! Nicely done for your first airbrush work. Jarvis
  4. Zactoman, please, may I have your permission to use that as my work computer wallpaper? I'm the only non-supervisory male in an office full of women. After 12.5 years of estrogen poisoning, that'll hang 'me up. Jarvis
  5. Funny how everyone has different views. I think the Su-27 is one of the most beautiful aircraft ever designed. For some reason, I've always thought the Mirage family are ugly ducklings on the ground. Gotta agree that the B-24 is butt ugly anywhere, any time. Jarvis
  6. That's a beautiful Porter. Really nice work, sir. Jarvis
  7. Tulsa State Fair starts this weekend. I wonder how many permutations of bacon I'll find. Jarvis
  8. Another reccommendation for microballoons. They're very chemically stable, so not much need to worry about the effects a few years on. So many hobby shops now carry r/c kits and supplies that microballoons are much easier to find than in the past. I bought a bottle that will last many, many years for $11.00 full retail. Jarvis
  9. Gorgeous! Great work. Jarvis
  10. I haven't been able to find the specific belts for a 1/32 Yak-18. Anyone have a set of generic belts they'd be willing to part with? It's a twin seat trainer, so I need two sets. Or any info on the specific belts or replacement seats? email stitchguyj AT yahoo DOT com Thanks, Jarvis
  11. I'm doing the NSAWC blue splinter scheme. I absolutely suck at weathering, so it had crossed my mind that maybe the black plastic could help in this situation. I'll have to do more research to how weathered those a/c got. Thanks for the input. I think I'll save myself some work and just prime the subassemblies, cockpit, u/c, gear bays etc. in advance. Jarvis
  12. Stay strong, JMan. I've been on painkillers for over a year due to a back injury. They're terribly subtle In getting their claws into you. You've taken the most important steps to recovery: realizing and admitting the addiction and seeking help. Follow the treatment and work the NA program. I hope it doesn't sound trite, but I'm reminded of something a trusted advisor told me. Pain can be a good thing. As long as you feel pain, you're alive. As long as you're alive, things can improve. You have a long road ahead of you, but you can do it. I know from experience...you...CAN...make...it. I'll be
  13. I'm getting ready to start a RoG F-14. It's molded in black, but I'm not doing the black scheme. I've thought about completely spraying the sprues with Tamiya white primer before cutting any parts off. Then I thought about removing the primer from every mating surface for good glue joints. What do you think, preprime everything or prime as needed as I go along? Jarvis
  14. Hey Brian. I think this turned into a zero-sum situation. I gave Mossy the kit decals so I could order your NSAWC decals. I've heard great things about your product. Looking forward to trying them. Jarvis
