I've seen the T6 Texan II painted yellow in the factory. It's BRIGHT. No pics though it was parked in the secured (no pics allowed) J.P.A.T.S. flight hangar.

I have heard the story or should I say stories of the cracked trunnion on Balls 70. But, never from the man who put the red X in it's 781's. All I have to say is, it's a small world.

I just posted a few ( and more to come) contributions. The first pic is the last tanker I ever worked on 63-8060 (AD ASTRA) KC-135D. The second pic is of Balls 70 the first tanker I ever worked on at Sheppard AFB. The rest are the NKC-135 Laser Lab and EC-135 that are on display at the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson. It was a shame to see those two birds sitting outside to rot.

Wow, sounds like the McConnell is alittle sparse this year. I'll probably still make a trip out there though.
