  1. Simply marvelous! The color scheme and the finish makes this a real beauty! Great job on the wash. Not too heavy, not too light. I'm with the others, this makes me want to build one of these
  2. Thank you, Bob and Sebastijan! Bob: I'm using an airbrush to put on the coats. Sebastijan: I actually just picked a can of shop-branded turpentine from Max Bahr to clean my airbrush with so I thought I'll give it a try with that.
  3. Hi Amin, This might be a starting point: http://www.rlm.at/cont/archiv01.htm. Towards the middle of the page, there is a table listing RLM, FS-595b, FS-595a and other colors. Additionally, you might have a look at http://scalemodeldb.com/paintcharts/vallejo Select Federal Standard at the top, in the Brand column and you can manually compare the colors to Vallejo. Hope this helps! Cristian
  4. Thank you, Bob! I'm going to add two layers of Erdal Glanz - the Future-replacement here in Germany - letting it dry between the passes, apply the decals, put another layer of Erdal Glanz, add the scratches by dry-brushing then the matte lacquer. Am I on the right way? Thanks again! Cristian
  5. Hi, I'm about to do my first wash! :D However, I must admit, I'm a bit unsure about the way I should go. My question would be whether I can use the often-mentioned turpentine+oil wash directly over my enamel colors (from Revell) or not? Could the turpentine attack the enamels? Should I apply a layer of glossy lack or Future before doing the wash? I've heard that acrylics are not as good as the oil wash. Can you confirm/infirm this? Many thanks in advance for all your help! Cristian
