  1. I thoroughly enjoyed the Revell P-51D and will build the later version when it arrives. It was a simple build. Regarding the interior framing, just sand all the parts to remove minor mould seems and the fuselage goes together beautifully. Yes, some filler on intake and the underside nose panel needs some work. Basic model skills. Great kit !!
  2. Wings in flying position i.e. bent upwards. I wonder if they'll provide them at rest ?
  3. Thanks a million Kursad. I've sent you an email with my postal address details
  4. I ordered the 48th scale B-58 decals from Caracal almost a year ago when they re-released them. They were dispatched but never arrived. Must be the good old South African post office to blame. I'm trying to source a set but Caracal have none left. Any ideas where I could get some from ? The kit decals are brittle and yellow.
  5. Yup. Filled them in with Mr. Surfacer. Need to still run a rivet wheel across. Like BillS says, not a biggie. Like I said, great kit and really hoping for a B
  6. Mine is assembled. Only issue is a slightly sloppy front lower nose piece. The fuselage goes together no problems. The wing leading edge inserts fit well. The only issue with the cockpit is to sand down any punch marks on the inside of the fuselage halves. That done, the fuselage halves click solidly in place around the cockpit with no gaps. It's a great kit.
  7. ScaleWorx resin Alo III in 48th recently released. Check ScaleWorx Facebook page.
  8. Perfect plastic putty is water soluble. Paste it on with a flat spatula. Wet the tip of your finger and very gently rub at 90 degrees to the seam. Very gently otherwise you'll end up with a depression in the seam. Reapply as required. I've applied PPP and allowed it to dry and even then it remains water soluble. No real need to sand. Needs a good sealant / primer afterwards.
  9. I never thought much about the F-14 until I walked around the one at Udvar-Hazy. It's simply a feat of engineering and aerodynamic excellence. No other aircraft has more complex curves than the F-14 which makes for an interesting subject from all angles.
  10. Remove rotor head and MGB and in goes the Puma
  11. Yes please. SAAF version with JL100 combined tank/rocket pods. Please Kinetic and Raymond, the Springboks MUST BE GOLD !!!!
  12. What a magnificent job of what must be the sexiest jet in the sexiest jet colour scheme.
  13. For my build of this aircraft, I filled all available space I could with lead (including the nacelles) and it was still a tail sitter. I guess I just missed a gram or two. So now not only is it heavy, it has a clear spree tail prop.
  14. That KH box art is great. If it's up to their latest 32nd scale kit standard, I don't see any problems with this being a KH kit....
  15. Martin, you are my new hero. I've been waiting sooooo long for the Gina. Portuguese in Africa I think ! Now, about that Fitter.....pleaaaaase :)
