  1. Great work. Nice touch with the pins on the base. I really like you builds. Especially the SU-35 Flanker.
  2. This will be stunning if it's finished. Keep up the great work.
  3. I really like this build. I agree the Zond was a facinating program. Anatoly Zak has very extensive information about the Russian manned lunar program: Russian Space Web for those interested in those missions. Great scratchbuilding. I first thought it was the NewWare Zond kit.
  4. All those sanding and filling... it will be worth in the end. Great job so far.
  5. Another inspiring build. Great work as always... Cheers Ralf
  6. Another very interesting build. I love the scratchbuilding.
  7. I've seen your builds on the french forums already and they are a great inspiration. Especially since I did start a Ranger scratchbuild myself. Then I've discovered yout project and I purchased the L'Arsenal kit right away since it was way better than my puny attempts. Cheers Ralf
  8. Mike Mackowskis Space In Miniature has all the scale drawings you will need. SIM 4 ist the one you want. Hope this helps... Cheers Ralf
  9. Great progress so far. I really like your way of doning things. A big inspiration. Keep up the great work!
  10. Very nice, especially considering the size and materials. Great work! Cheers Ralf
  11. Great work, the engines are very detailed and look really good. Did you model them in Fusion and print them on the Photon? You could model and print a 1/12 scale CSM 😀 Cheers Ralf
  12. You modeled them in Fusion right? What scale is it? Good work. Cheers Ralf
  13. Many thanks for the digital model on thingiverse. This seems perfect for the Photon. As Pete said brilliant job! Cheers Ralf
  14. Your Falcon 1 looks great. I really like how the print came out. When you look at pictures taken just before the launch it seems that at least one side has no logo applied.
  15. Not much left of the original kit... great work. Can't wait to see it finished.
  16. I’ve spent the weekend doing some CAD stuff and I also upgraded my Anycubic Photon. One thing I didn’t like was the smell of the resin when the printer is running. Putting the printer in the basement is quite annoying and it stinks too with less ventilation. So I’ve modded the Photon and added a fan and a hepa filter for fume extraction. This is not too complicated and took only about half an hour to make. First there is a need for some adapter and a funnel for the filter, which can be designed with a CAD program. The top panel can be removed and instead the funnel is added. The fan is a
  17. Great work on the interior of the Gemini craft. The instrument panel looks great. Can't wait to see your further progress.
  18. I would agree with Bill here that 3d modeling is an important part of the whole 3d printing process. I am an educator and teach technicians the use of 3d printing mostly for prototyping stuff. The 3d printing process is basically not too complicated depending what you want to do with it. The devil is in the details especially if you want to make models with a certain level of surface details. Working with a 3d printer is not too difficult depending on the model. There are some than work mostly out of the box, others require much more tinkering. Another thing to remember is the technology use
  19. Great work! works perfectly with that base.
  20. Hi Pete, thanks for your interest. I've used a Molotov Deep Black spray paint as a primer. One for hiding the small crimes so to speak. It covers very well and also fills small gaps. It's an good quality artist brand. And I wanted to try something different than the usual alclads. It's not a high gloss more a semi matte. For the Silver paint I used also the Molotov range in this case their special series effect chrome. This one is ultra shiny. Since I wanted something inbetween I've hoped it works. Well and here are the results: I like the result
