Great work so far mate. Well done.

Thanks a lot for the feed back. I appreciate it.

With the final Matt coat now dry, its time to say this build is done. I present for your approval the M41A3 Walker Bulldog Light Tank. Fun build basically straight out of the box. I think its come out real good and it wont be my last tank for sure. Tamiya paints, Flory washes and Tamiya weathering packs were used to detail.

Wow. So much detail. It's looking great. -
Sorry mate, Wedge and I intended to go, but he got sick and I got broke, so we ejected at the last minute. I'll be at the next one for sure.
-
Wow, very nice. I must do a Mig someday.

1/48 Academy Curtis P-40 IIb Tomahawk Fighter
DesTROYer replied to DesTROYer's topic in The Display Case
Actually that was my fault. I had them masked all up through out the painting process, then when I finished the weathering, I took off the masks and it looked great. Crystal clear... Until I stupidly sealed in the weathering with Matt clear without covering the glass back up. Lesson learned and noted. I will NEVER make that mistake again. Thanks for the feed back guys. I'm really happy with how it's turned out. -
LF 1/72 Academy F-14a Canopy glass

Anyone? -
Very cool buddy.

I will swap out the the exhausts with the resin ones when they arrive and still probably run an antenna wire when I get confirmation on where its supposed to run to and from, but here it is. I would like to introduce RAAF Group Captain Clive Caldwell's, Curtis P-40 IIb Tomahawk Fighter from WWII's North Africa campaign. Gunze Mr Hobby and Life Color Paint's, Flory Models Washes and Legend Productions Cockpit.

Why does this happen after bin night? I thought I had put it in my "safe place" but it's not there. The bins went out last night and I fear it may have gone out in a not so empty sprue bag. I seem to have misplaced the canopy glass for a 1/72 Academy F-14A Tomcat. Does anyone have a spare? I am building this for a close friends mum who has been unwell, a great supporter of my modelling and a fellow lover of the Tomcat. I need to have it finished in the next 2 and a bit weeks, so any help will be greatly appreciated.
