I built this Panzer two years ago, and finally put the whole thing together. This is a DML PzIV F (F1) with some Alpine and Tamiya figures. The base was obtained on closeout from my LHS. I do not recall the name of the maufacturer but they were a South African company. The base depicts a real location outside Sidi Barrani Egypt. The mile marker was erected by the Italians pre war. The DAK passed this point at least twice in the North African campaign. G

Khaki shirt, for sure. Forest green wool trousers or khaki trousers depending on the season. Leather football style helmet with or without holes in the crown. Field shoes most likely with leggings. This time period saw blue denim coveralls and bib style overalls as a work uniform. Pith helmets were making an appearence and the standard cover for the field was the "Field Cover". Think smokey the bear hat. Steel helmets were the WW I style. G

I couldn't resist the online deals from DML, so I picked this one up. Cyber Hobby Orange Box kit, Tamiya paint masked with Silly Putty. I used styrene strips to re place all the weld beads, and add details. G

I'm almost finished with this one. This is the AFV Club kit with AFV Club aftermarket tracks, mantlet cover and turret basket PE. MM Acryl paint. G
