  1. Hello Murph, fund your answer here and have one question: In Desert Shield a lot of 1st TFW birds had a stronger paint. Does it mean it was only a wrong mixture? In a Concord book (#4011, Gathering of Eagles, p. 21) is written that the painting is to imitate the MiG29. I´ve seen a lot of Langley Eagles had this camo in Desert Storm https://www.af.mil/News/Photos/igphoto/2000595037/ Greetings from Germany, Mark
  2. Great Raptor, thanks a lot! Great Raptor! Thanks a lot!
  3. Hello, has anybody any infos and pics about the Rafael Spike System on Apaches? I´ve seen the pics introducing the weapons and a few pics carrying this system by the Israelis. For what is the ball on the right wing? Does anybody has a walkaround or better pics with the spike on it?
  4. Hi, I saw your nice walkarounds in primeportal. Your collection of israeli equipment is great.

Another good pic from Desert Storm, Signal/Squadron Publication "F-15 Eagle in Action" The 58rd TFS used 2 types of rails

Yes, it answers. This pic proofs they mixed the rails in the conflict. It seems logical, the LAU-128 was new and not available in number. Thanks to all.... every answer motivated me to do a more intensive research 🙂

There´s no LAU-128, all 4 rails are LAU114. If you increase the pic you see

I´ve read the AIM120A was introduced in 1989 by the 33rd TFW. In the book "Sharing Eagles" (by Jerry Scutts, ISBN 0600 568 27x) is a pic of a pair of F-15C (86--0174 and 0173) with AIM120 and LAU128. This book was published in 1990 before Desert Storm.
