Hi all, and thank you again for your compliments The main steps to achieve this result are : - Riveting the whole plane, - Airbrushing alclad duraluminium, after a coat of primer (Mr Surfacer 1200) - Applying differents shades of alclad ( aluminium, dark aluminium, magnesium) on some panels - Post-shading panel lines with alclad dark aluminium - Washing the panels lines. I apply a mix of water and pastel powder and remove the excess with cotton swabs, The last step is shown on the picture below. I have applied small touches of very dilute gray paint along the fuselage I hope this ans

Hi all, I have decided to make a small diorama with this Mig-19. The runway is built in a sheet of 5mm cardboard. Drawing step Preshading Airbrushing of the grey color Masking Final result : The last photos show some progress on the rest of the aircraft. Painting of the missiles, according to the instructions on the HDL sheet. Wash is applied to the external tanks : A coat of flat varnish has been applied on the decals. The masks are made of post-it notes
