Thanks Chuck! I'm trying to get out to as many shows as possible this year. Sadly, the AMMS show will be the last for the 16 as it goes into retirement. It's too bad you won't be there! Justin -

Hey Chuck! Thanks for the nice words about my IAF F-16 =) Was cool to meet you and to see your A-10 in person. I knew it was all over once that bad boy rolled in - but us beginners need to see some serious quality work to get better in the hobby. I'm going to be starting on my 1/32 ZM Uhu and get it ready for next years show. Justin PS: and thanks for the tips =) -
Haha sir, thanks for that! I am very much not a master I'm learning as I go, just like you! Been seriously modelling for only 2 years so I'm continually having to try and improve my techniques. I had never tried this camo before and as I said before I'm sure anyone could do it with patience and the right airbrush and paint. Try to find a scrap old model or even so plasticard to practice on. For the paint I used the Tamiya custom color mix for the RLM and thinned with Tamiya lacquer thinner. If you have not tried tamiya paint with their lacquer thinner - prepare to be blown away. Once you have

8-10lbs and pretty thin. Thinner than you normally would as you'll be running lots of air over the needle and you don't want the paint to dry on it. If you go too thick you'll see the little paint flecks dry away from the area you're trying to spray. It's hard to explain.

Camo is RLM 76 over RLM 75 - freehand. This camo wasn't particularly difficult once I finally figured out the correct paint to use, you just need to be patient and take breaks often and run your airbrush at low psi. Justin
