So the paint was in an uncontrolled environment, but...... Now I bought more MM paint, brand new, assured by the LHS. Now I tried spraying it and the same thing happened. I am so frustrated, I can't get this to spray. I have never had this before. It clogs up the airbrush like glue.

Hey guys, So I have a question in regards to bad paint. I keep ending up with lots of sediment when I try to airbrush model master acrylic paint and I'm not sure why. I've had this paint for a while after a move, about a year in storage, is this the reason? is model master acrylic just a poor manufacturer? or is it possible its a bad batch? I've only had this problem w/ tamiya paints once or twice, but I was able to use a filter for those. My filter won't work for this one. what do you guys do in this situation. I can't even fight through it as it clogs so terribly. T

Building the cockpit is my least favourite. Found an eduard kit at a show a couple years ago, had that part done, nothing else. got it for $5 CAD. The guy did a good job on it too! If it wasn't buried in the stash, I'd do it next! Was the best buy for me!

I have used Light blue many times and have the same result. It always feels a little grainy and dries super fast. Has anyone else have this? Why is light blue different?

Dumb question, but is it lead as in lead weight, or lead like leed?

Hey guys, I have seen and heard of many modellers using lead wire for added details. Where do I get it? is it just like soldering wire? or is it like fishing line? I have been looking for it up here in the great white north, and cant't find it. Cabbalas in the US has a nice assorted set, but thats in the states.

Thaknks a bunch! I have never painted the interior canopy colours, but I like your suggestion and will try that! I do currently use future, and have an understanding of scratch removal, so it will be a case of gout to get some of my first sanding sticks

Hey guys, I am looking to step up my canopy game a bit! I am mainly trying to get them to fit tighter and with a less of a gap and more along the edges. I have searched and haven't been able to find very much help. How do you guys do it? Thanks, Dave.

Nice work!!! -
Hey guys, So I understand the pros and cons of wetsanding, and you're only supposed to use it on the finished surface, but what about for sanding putty? I have been having a very hard time learning how to use putty and getting some mediocre results at best, however I have generally been making my models worse by using putty. W/ that said I tried wet sanding for the first time, ever. It seems to have made a drastic improvement on the kit I'm on. Not perfect yet, but it is almost a night and day difference. Does anyone have any reasons why I should not be doing this or is it possible I was not

Ah! I see! Thank you

I have an opportunity to buy a nice looking unit DB for about $500 CAD. It looks like a fun machine, however I have never used one before. I would like to learn about them and use them in modelling. My dad is familiar and is willing to help me with it as much as he can. Does anyone have any thoughts about this machine? Dave
