  2. I'm in with a Minicraft 777 and aftermarket BA Decals I also vote for the 11th. Thanks for organizing again!
  3. What do you want to know? I live in Bellingham, just 20-30 mins south of there.... I love it in Bellingham - great community, pretty quiet, lots of stuff to do outdoors - light on hobby shops, but that's what Sprue Bros is for.....
  4. Hi Chuck - I can't offer any praise that hasn't been said before, your work is fantastic and inspiring! Question for you about your organization of your builds - how do you do it? Do you have a detailed plan at the beginning of which parts from which aftermarket go where and when, or do you just decide to complete certain sections like the cockpit, then booms, etc. in order and go with the flow until they are satisfactory? I struggle with "paralysis by analysis" and spend too much time thinking and not enough time building... Thanks and keep up the amazing work!
  5. I second that - super fast and easy transaction when I traded with him as well!
  6. I'm looking for the markings for AC 843 with the flag during the farewell flights, specifically the yellow "black sheep" fin flash. Partials are ok, as I've cobbled together everything but the fin flash, tailcode and canopy names from stuff I have floating around. The Hasegawa Sheet from HE02011 would be perfect, or the fin flash from the Twobobs sheet. I have the kit sheet for the first flag scheme (AC 790) if anyone is interested in a trade, as well as plenty of 1/72 decal bits, or will buy outright. TIA! Nate
  7. I'm looking for the markings for AC 843 from the Hasegawa Sheet - I don't really need the flag stuff, I'm mostly after the badges, fin flash and canopy names. I have kit sheet for the first flag scheme if anyone is interested in a trade, or will buy outright. TIA! Nate
  8. I have had the same problem with multiple tubes over the years. I'm so slow that I only pop them open once a year or so and the are stuck :/ Typically thinner and pliers do the trick for me, but you are right that you can tear the tube if you try too hard (speaking from experience....) Maybe go with lacquer thinner or something like Castrol Super-Clean or Easy Lift-Off?
  9. Those are great tips, especially cutting out the inside detail... I'll look for that foam too - sounds way better than trying to float something in there. Thanks!
  10. This has bugged me for awhile...are there any good how to's on installing things like closed speedbrakes, Hasegawa's numerous inserts, gear doors, closed panels, etc? There's a million on how to do fuselage seams, but nothing on how to preserve the panel lines that naturally occur at the joint, eliminating steps, or rescribing the complicated boundaries after filling a big mismatch.... TIA!
  11. Yea, I think it's just unclear/bad writing - I would read it as "...three colors, and each of the three colors were different tones (gray, green, brown)." Then again, it was secret project and painting with 9 different colors is a good way to make sure to consume all of your funding....
  12. Deal with confidence!! Items were in as good or better condition than advertised and quickly shipped. Thanks again! Nate
  13. I stumbled on a cool scheme that was a bare metal USAAF P-40 with a sharkmouth, but I can't figure out if it ever actually existed. The only two images I've found were screenshots of a flight sim skin and an ARF R/C plane with a similar scheme - the tail number on one of them was 214729. TIA, Nate
  14. Stop me from starting this and turning it in to a shelf queen! Buyer pays shipping (from 98229 in the US), Paypal preferred, kits is unstarted.... 1/144 Minicraft Continental 777-200 - no kit decals but Xtra Decals X44-001 BA Landor Scheme instead $20 Thanks for looking!
  15. Listing this separately from my other FS thread, just because I know it's popular and the fact that the deal fell through might be lost in the other thread.... 1/35 Dragon M1A2 SEP (3536) and Tamiya Modern Stowage $60 Also have to go along if you're interested: 1/35 Verlinden 2378 "US Tankers Handling Ammo Iraq" set of two figures $12 Buyer pays shipping from 98229 Thanks for looking!
  16. M1A2 SEP Abrams fell through, so it's back up - and don't miss the ammo loading figures I added... Thanks!
