  3. It helps if the original cammo pattern on the instructions is drawn correctly in the three views. Sadly, many I have used for reference it is not. When you try to match the demarcation lines going from say the top view to the side view they do not match up. And many three views the panel lines drawn DO NOT match the model. Even on the kit makers own instructions. Always verify your source material is correct before proceeding to copy and make patterns for masking.
  4. yep, I've had a few of those. I usually have found another source for the item I want and tell the seller to go pound sand.
  5. I've had several buyer not pay. I always list in the auction when payment is expected by. If they miss the deadline and I have not heard anything from them after sending several emails and invoices I file a report with ebay then relist the item. I think after a buyer has three reports of non-payment against them then ebay suspends their account. It is very, very annoying. If you don't want the item then don't bid. How hard is that? The sad thing is that ebay no longer allows negative feedback for deadbeat buyers. The ebay rules favor buyers way more than they do sellers.
  6. Lots of masking..............
  7. Saw it out my window at work the other day. It was here for the investors meeting in Bldg 75. BTW Mark how are you doing? Long time no see or talk. You still flying RC? jeff
  8. Finally gonna stick a pin in this one and call it done. I used Afterburner Decals and Harold's seat. Paints are custom Tamiya mixes. Nice kit, very well engineered fit (except for closing up the gun bay) but man is that landing gear fiddly. jeff
  9. well, much to the nay-sayers regret you proved you can install the engine panels and still have them removable...... great work!!!
  10. Thanks to Gianni for his Spit Mk XIV today. It has validated what I did to my unfinished Spit WRT the wing cannon arrangement. Just a note to elucidate my statement....I've been struggling the past few months with how I mounted the wing cannon on my 1/32 conversion of the PCM Mk IXc to a Mk XIV using Radu's very nice set. I mounted my Master Barrels brass cannon in the outboard position with the recouperator inboard. Initially I thought this was the way to do it, after posting many questions on the forums. But once having CA'd them (very securely I might add) in place I started having doubts.
