Never done any of their aviation kits, But I've done numerous IMC (and same kits under various boxings) and the y have been iffy. Some work fine. Others looked as if they were printed during the Stalin days! Little dinkers , like license plate, I've found a coat of clear coat will keep the crappy looking ones together. Stuff the size of national markings ..... I think you are looking at after market. Bermot (?) might be an option.

Dragon hobbys , on EBAY carries them. (No relations to the Dragon that makes the kits ... I don't think. ) Another EDAY dealer (who I've dealt with ) is Scotts Hobbys (?), ebay contact is rebelalpha. Not sure if he has any left. Just save one for me. I might try adapting them to an EC 145. Looking to add an EMS one to the collection. Want to do something other than ADAC or Rega bird. (Like I said, if someone made a set for Boston Med or D Hart I'd be a little piggy in mud!!!) Might not be totally accurate but would look neat.

Sorry, Steve. Mia culpa! It's PeDDinghaus. Site is peddinghaus-decals.de They have a set for Arcadian's BO-105 NS11DD. I've seen it on Ebay for about $10. Other US one they have is a Vanderbilt Uni ship.

ooooh.... This could make life interesting. Just ordered a Revell 145 VIP to get the POLIZEI decals (Think the older green/white looks better) to use on a Heller kit. Am planning an EMS ship also. Anybody make "life flight" decals besides Penninhaus? They only have two US ones I know of .... one out of Texas, another out of Louisiana. If anyone has the ear of one of the makers, two suggestions. #1 Boston Medflight .... real sharp blue/silver scheme. #2 D Hart out of Boston and Manchester NH. White with dark green pine tree line markings.

How do these rate compared to the Heller and ROG EC 145 kits? I've worked on a couple heller kits. I like them. (Haven't done their ADAC version. Does it have all the air ambulance stuff or is it the same as the other 3 kits?) Haven't worked with the revell kits, but from the reviews I know the doors are molded shut. :(

Thanks, Tony. Got the decals today. Had to call the fire dept. to bring the Jaws of Life to open the package. :) Didn't mess em up. Went on like a charm Just need to put the S/N on , blade up, and weather. Should have it finished foor this weekend.

Check CanMilAir for decals. Got a 1/72 set for the CH-149 and CH-146. (Was able to get the numbers for the A/C I wanted too... 912 out of Newfoundland and 440 out of Goose Bay. Not sure if they had 1/48 or no .... didn't look. But if you ask real nice......

O.K., Sports fans!!!!! During the first half of March 1965 the Yankee Papa roster was .....YP1-150727. YP2-148818. YP3-150572. YP4-150251. YP5-148797. YP7-150726. YP8-150568. YP10-150574. YP11-148788. YP12-150248. YP13-150250. YP16-148817. YP17-150575. YP19-148812. YP20-150580. YP21-150561. YP24-150722. YP27-148816. YP28-148818. notes: YP24 is a guess. "4" on report was smudged. BUNo. is good. YP21 also shows 150586 on one report. 586 comes back as an A-4. You do the math. Following ships have multiple references to the same YP/BuNo combos..... YP1 (5), YP3 (2), YP4 (2), YP7 (3), YP11

Something tells me the v struts from there would be a tad over scale on a 1/72 kit. :( Gonna have to hold out for 1 of 3 kits that have them or make my own. Oh. Forgot to give credit and thanks to Jari for solving the YP 13 mystery. How do you say "thanks" in Finnish?

***!!!! I just posted a list of 18 YP#s with mating BuNos. It did not post!!!!!! YP 13 IS 150250. Several pilots were nice enough to put BuNo (required) along with YP# in their after action reports.

Now you would have thought Burrows should have known 40+ years later we would run into this problem and have taken a nice shot of YP 13''s markings! Bad Burrows.

The Popasmoke site must have transposed them. It list 572 as YP 13. Seeing 572 is listed as w/o on 31 March and YP 13 made it out of the LZ ...... Can't be the same. Back to the initial mystery, what is YP 13's BuNo? 568 or 250? None of the above?????
