Hello Loach driver
I am not sure if this helps, but there is a person on Facebook selling a CMK MH-6E/J/M little bird engine set. He is part of the Australian and New Zealand plastic model buy, sell, swap, wanted parts and a group. His name is Ross; I have bought off him a few times. He is a good seller. Hope this helps? thanks

Thank you both, it will be a 1991 desert storm Tomcat. I was hoping to get the model started before getting the decals, but the opposite will probably happen. So, I can work of the decals. I am hoping to do the Christine Tomcat (VF-33? I think) Thank you again

Hello All
I am not sure if anyone can help me? Quite a few years ago Armourama had a guide to painting US Vietnam helmet using Humbrol paints. I am wondering if anyone can help me with the colors? I cannot find them on the website, nor can I find where I wrote them down. Thanks

Hello
I am not 100% sure, but I suspect the earlier version of the Arizona, had no windows (Around 1920's) But 1930's/1940's Arizona seem to have them. Not sure if this helps? Thanks

Hello
I have purchased from DF-Helo stuff before. It was pre-covid, so things might be different now. I used the order form. I either paid via PayPal or direct deposit. However, I was in contact with the owner (David?) to check I had done things correctly. I couldn't fault anything with it. I would most certainly order of them again if I needed too. Thanks

Hello Lloyd
You could try CultTVman's hobby shop. They may have something that fits. Thanks

To be honest, I am not sure. I suspect maybe military, as I believe it was within the first week of the attack. It is near a border. Not sure which one? Obviously, I dont want to push her too hard. I was really hoping just to get a list of places that could help her in her search. Thanks

Hello All
I am not sure if this allowed or if anyone can help me? My Neighbour is from the Ukraine. Apparently, her immediate family were caught in the first wave of the attack because they lived near the airport. She has no idea whether they alive or dead & hasn't been able to make contact. Does anyone know if there is anyone that might be able to help her? Thank you

Thank you both
That is a great help.
Scooby, I am used to our Police Dauphins. This one sounded & looked different. I was impressed. I wish I had gotten some photos. I was going to when he took off, but he shot off in the other direction obscured by trees.
Again thank you both

Hello All
Does anyone make a Augusta Westland AW-139? I have seen the Victorian Air Ambulance version (Australia) I would like to have a go at one, if one exists? Not fussed on scale, at the moment, just seeing if its available in a kit. Thanks

You can try with spray cans using rigid masks made of something like a manilla folder, slightly raised from the surface of the model. I remember reading about this in FSM back in the early 2000s. Since the mask is raised ever so slightly from the surface of the model, if you are careful you can get that soft edge you are looking for.
The other way I have seen is to use artist oils, and then you can blend the demarcation line since the paint takes so long to dry. There is a video on youtube where someone demonstrated this technique. I have not tried it, but it did look intriguing.
I really have no idea how you would achieve that look with normal hobby paints. In similar discussions in years past, it was discussed that there are a few master brush painters that can do it, but it is not easy.
Thank you Kurt, I try those in the future.

Hello All
I am wondering whether anyone can guide me on how to create soft edges between different color paints? Similar to an airbrush? I have few models I would like to try this effect on. For example the Euro 1 scheme on an A-10. Thanks

Hello All
Does anyone make aftermarket or generic decals for a 1:35 or 1:32 Scale Apache? I have the academy (Kangam) Apache. I dont like the grey scheme, I am happy with just the plain drab green. I am not sure the kit decals will work for the darker drab green. Thanks

There is a lot of options? maybe...Mind you I have never rented anywhere that has issue with me modelling. I know our local hobby store, does a meet & make on weekends. Maybe somewhere near by does the same? Depending on where you are renting is there an issue with you placing a small shed up? Maybe see if there is like minded person if they would mind sharing there space. Would building snap together models work whilst you are there? What about your workplace? Would they be willing to let you have a small space? Even letting people here know what area you are going too, there might be someone here who might be will to share space? Thanks
