  1. I like them all, It was the first TV series I owned all complete seasons off. The episode that I like the most is "trick or treated" The one with Hawkeye dressed as superman... I wish revell would re-issue the models again. Love to try & do the Swamp scene again!!!

    Unfortunately, he will need a MYKI ticket to use public transport, It is not the most friendliest of system, overly complicated, my apologies for that, it was the government fixing something that wasnt broken. Plenty of taxis around. We do have some rain forests, just not on the scale of Tassie or Queensland. The Dandenong ranges (not dandenong the city, that is best avoided!!! LOL)Around Puffing Billy is quite forest like. If your son is into train's. Puffing Billy is a steam train that runs through the forest. It is accessible via public transport. I can help more if needed, as I live in Victoria, Australia. Thanks

    Your diagram is a little basic, is that a screw thread at the end? if it is, I think you could make it yourself. Get some metal (in your choice of type)in the diameter you want, then get a tap & die set & put your choice of thread on it.I might be reading the picture wrong though. Maybe if you have a metal fabrication place near by, & you bring your own metal, someone might do it for correct price (Beer?) Thanks

  4. We spent our honeymoon there, loved it, would move to Honolulu in a heart beat. Arizona memorial is very moving. I could spend a day each & the Missouri & Pacific air mueseum. We didnt find prices too bad, but the Aussie Dollar was good. I think you will love it. I couldnt think of anything negative to say about the place. We felt safe everywhere. Enjoy

  6. Here's a quick quiz question for you, folks. 100 ARC Points and a feeling of smug satisfaction to the first person to get the correct answer;

    Which country undertook the world's first aerial bombing attack on an opposing navy's vessels, and when was it?

    I will have a crack at the American civil war in a hot air balloon. Just a guess

  7. This most likely belongs in Figure Modeling, but it will get more exposure here (I hope).

    I've picked up a Pegasus Models Dragonslayer kit, based on the movie Dragonslayer; it features a dragon(!) and the charactor played by Peter MacNichol in the film. It's a beautifully detailed kit, it turned out to be vinyl. The fit is great, in most cases without any filler at all. I soaked and scrubbed and air-dried all the parts BUT.....

    So far, I've only tried to paint the head (I'm dealing with seperate assemblies). In line with several books, I've tried primering with methycellulose (auto primer) and two other Krylon primers. Trouble is, once I move the part in the slightest way, the primer flakes off.

    The Pegasus Models website has no reccomendations, numerous e-mails have not recieved any answers.

    Any input is welcome!

    Well this is my first post, & I hope I am correct, but Vinyl can be only painted with acrylics, I am not sure whether anything else works. Enamel melts the vinyl usually. Good luck
