  2. Sorry to hear about your disappointment. I know from my own personal experience how frustrating things can be when kits don't live up to my expectations. About the only thing I can possible suggest is that since Kinetic is a relatively new model company it's probably gonna take them awhile to get up to speed with the likes of Tamiya, Hasegawa, and AFV Club. It sounds like they are having some success with a few of their kits while others still lag behind. Okay well hang in there! Tim

  8. As an American watching the USA/Slovenia game I too was quite appalled by the disallowed 3rd goal and felt the USA was most certainly robbed of the win. I do however feel that apart from this particular game and a few other significant missed calls the refs have been doing a pretty decent job.
  9. Thanks to everyone who responded to my posting - I have just finishing updated the list so people will know what is still available. Tiim

  17. Wow, that's a really really nice paint finish. Excellent job my friend. tim
  18. Excellent work Mr. B. I really love the paint scheme!
  19. My best guess would be if they are 1/72 scale you could use a slightly toned down shade of black but if you're building in 48th scale then you could use a more metallic black....???
  20. I purchased an Sparmax brush from LuckyModel a couple years ago and wanted to get another one but discovered that they are no longer carrying the brand. I know there are a couple place Stateside that carry the brand but compared to the $49.00 I paid for my brushes their prices are not a bargain. Anyway I just wanted to see if anyone knew of any other place besides LuckyModel and Hobby East that I might try. Thanks, Tim
  21. I've had two cleaning pots over the years and have loved 'em both. The first one I used was made by Testors but worked fine with my Iwata airbrush. The second one I purchased is from SPARMAX (an IWATA clone...kinda sorta) and love that one as well. However as someone else has already mentioned they do allow some of the fumes to escape so you should definitely wear a respirator if you're sparying enamel or lacquer paints.
  22. Okay so here's the deal, I learned many moons ago that clear plastic pieces can get really messed up if there is no way for fumes from super glue to properly ventilate - my question is this....how long after using super glue can you close up an area which is going to have clear pieces in the vicinity. I am working on a Hasegawa 1/72 E-2C kit and I put a bunch of lead weithgts in the fuselage halves just behind the cockpit bulkhead - I have not yet joined the fuselage halves together. My concern is for the 3 clear parts that I've installed in the rear portion of the fuselage - I don't want th
  23. I had a friend of mine just contacted Dragon USA to try and order a replacement canopy for his Hasegawa 1/48 A-4E kit but the woman told him that Dragon USA no longer handles replacement parts for Hasegawa. Anybody know any alternatives? Thanks, Tim
