Nice pics.... Where were they taken?

I know there are a lot of builders on here who build on "both sides of the fence" so I really don't think it would hurt to post the picture.

I mean there were times when I left the paint to dry for over a week and I'd still end up getting a fingerprint on it when I finally picked it up. Anyway, I was doing some experimenting this past week and I discovered that if you let the paint dry for about 24 hours and then used a little bit of the Novus #1 polishing compound on the paint it would harden right up. Anyway, I just thought I'd pass along my ex

What do you use to thin the stuff with before you spray it? Thanks! Tim

Does anyone know what the TAMIYA PAINT color codes are for these two bombs? I'm referring to the Acrylic Paint Series that begin with "X" for gloss paints and "XF" for flat color paints. Thanks! Tim

Can someone give me the FS#'s or the Gunze Color Codes that go with the 3 tone camo scheme worn by a lot of the USMC helos in the late 80's and early 90's - I know there is a black, dark green and some shade of gray. Thanks! Tim

Hey Ian, Welcome aboard. I'm not sure if there is a specific website just dedicated to allow people to post pictures of their models but it's pretty easy to do here on ARC if you have a digital camera. You just have to make sure the pictures aren't any larger than 80kb or is it 80mb???/ I can never get those 2 figures right. Again...welcome! Tim

Hey Bill, In my "internet roamings" I've never come across any masks for the kit you mentioned but you might want to check with the guy (I can't remember his name off hand) who runs Heli-Kit news. If there is anyone online who might know he's your guy! Good luck now! Tim

Hey Arnold, I have 2 IWATA airbrushes and absolutely love them, however they might be a little bit more than you are prepared to spend so I would suggest you check out the following link: Sparmax airbrush I saw these listed over on Lucky Models website and they look almost identical to the one IWATA I am currently using - the only thing different is the design of the paint cup. Good luck now! Tim U.S.A.

I'm thinking about getting one but before I make the committment I was wondering if there is one or two guys out there who already have the tool and could give me their honest opinions. As always, thanks!! Tim

Hey Jack, I think it was a couple of weeks ago, just after the end of the Nurenburg Toy Fair, that there was a post on here about Academy's upcoming CH-53E kit. Somebody put up a couple of pictures that were taken from at the show. Good luck, Tim

Excellent tip Ernie.....I'm gonna have to give them a try! Happy Modeling, Tim

I've built about 4 or 5 Academy kits and it seems like I've always had a heck of a time with their decals....so since I'm debating about getting this kit I'd like to hear from someone who's used the kit decals. Thanks guys! Tim
