  1. Here are some more pictures I picked up while visiting St. Petersburg, Russia a few years ago.
  2. Well it all really depends on what you want to use the tape for. If you are going to be masking off large areas then I would suggest you use the 18mm stuff. On the other hand if you are just looking to do something like a canopy you'd be better of probably using either the 6mm or 10mm stuff. Personally I have one of each size. Good luck, Tim
  3. I picked this picture up at a museum in St. Petersburg, Russia a couple of years ago. Thought some of you others might be interested. Tim
  4. I believe that Tamiya "acrylics" are actually a synthetic acrylic/laquer based paint. I've been using them since 1990 and haven't noticed any change in them other than the size of the bottle. The earlier paint jars held 23ml and the newer smaller size only holds 10ml. While I openly admit to being biased toward all Tamiya products, I sincerely believe their acrylic paints are among the best acrylic modeling paints out there. Once again the only drawback about their paints is their limited ranged.
  5. I don't know what it is but I've been having a heck of a time taking the lids of my Gunze paints (The acrylics). I've been using basically the same style of jar paints put out by Tamiya with no where near this problem. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks! Tim

  18. Okay, I've been using a set of excellent miniature files for the last 3 years and now I think it's about time for a replacement set unfortunately I can't for the life of me remember where I got this set. Does anyone know of a good source for miniature files? The ones I have are about 4 inches long. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tim
