  1. This is an excellent question/thread IF kept as an academic topic. And not a debate on who's right or wrong.
  2. You need another nine MK-82s with MERs? See post #3 .
  3. And I pray: Dear heavenly father of polystyrene model kits, please bless them to pick me first in this righteous ARC traditional holiday event. I've been a good boy (Mostly). I've strived to help my fellow modeler this year too. This year's event have some super-duper prizes and I don't want those heathens, I mean, blessed fellow modelers to have a jump on me ! Thank you for this opportunity and please bless ARC. Amen !
  4. You sure are consistent, I've give you that.......
  5. What's the prize count to entrants ratio thus far?
  6. Very nice build you've done here . I'm in the process of converting a 1/32 Tamiya F-15C to an 'Improved' F-15C Baz. I bought an F-15E lower section off of eBay in order to make an F-15C Baz with CFTs. I haven't decided whether to build an a/c that took place in Operation Wooden leg or a CAP set up. Your build thread will be a great source of info for my build ! FYI: If you don't already know, the Baz uses two CT pylons: 1) A pylon's leading has the standard angled edge. 2) A pylon's leading edge is vertical.
  7. That's tends to be the end result to approximately 90% of his posts. Elevating trolling to an art form really.
  8. Umm... That video was so freakin' cool I watched it twice, back to back! Thanks for sharing . PS; That also just moved a 1/32 Trumpy F-18F up the 'To build' list .
  9. Yep. The instructions even asks you which variant are you going to build despite the boxart showing only the German helo.

This thread has really become a trove of Strike Eagle info ! Thanks guys for all the insightful information. Keep it coming !
  11. Awesome! With the Barracuda resin and your decals, the 1/48 B-1B is sure to be high on modelers 'to do' list .
  12. My Revell of Germany is the same boxing but it comes with extra parts to make a 'D' variant. As such I'm building a Vietnam era Super Jolly Green Giant with it.

Thanks for all the info. Do you know what operation(s) 241 was involved in so I can get the loadout accurate? I just like the 241 for all the mis-colored panels; it gives the model character. At last years MO AFB airshow a ground crew member told me the panels come from the factory that way ('C' colored paint). Do the panels wear out or something?
  14. 'Dr. J drives up the left side of the lane........SLAM DUNK !!1!
  15. Under massive torque the rear rotor tail straightens up vertically. So I'm assuming the helo will have a horizontal elevator regardless of how much torque is being applied.
  16. Yeah, I know what you mean. It's equally annoying when someone posts something that has absolutely nothing to do with the thread's content....

No way; That's awesome insight on this a/c! So the white part of the intake (Back half) was stained from smoke? BTW; Do you know if 241 was in Operation Desert Storm? I know that the Strike Eagle were nOOBs to combat back then and I want to be accurate with the loadout whether it participated in ODS or another operation.
