  1. He does it so often (I've read) so the opposing defense doesn't know if he's actually changing the play.
  2. I agree, definitely go the "build your own" route. Since your brother is building it, I'd suggest watching & learning. It won't take much "learning". In fact, it's so easy, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. I've been building my own for 31 years (since I was 12, and things were much more difficult & expensive back then). The hardest part is learning what's compatible with what, but your brother is probably experienced enough for that. Anyway, it's WAY easier than building a model. No glue, no paint, no masking, straight-up snap-together LOL. (ok maybe some screws, if
  3. Don't watch it with the sound on or you'll hear the idiot news reader say "trying to land at a right angle" and you will likely lose more faith in humanity. Just sayin'...
  4. I'll take them. They'd look great in my yard. Maybe they would scare off the neighbor's garden gnomes. Shipping might be high, I guess. Not as ridiculous as some online shops, though.
  5. While I agree a correct F-100 would be cool, I gotta throw in another vote for the Su-34. Since there already are several 1/48 Huns out there (yeah, I know old-school or in need of corrections), I'd rather have the Fullback.
  6. Pretty much anything from "History of the World Part 1": Empress Nympho: Bob. Oh, Bob, do I have any openings that this man might fit? Crowd: Whoooooaaa... Bob: Well, we could use another wine steward. Josephus: I got a great corkscrew! Crowd: Woooooo! Josephus: Hey, this is a hip crowd! or Oedpius: Hey Josephus! Josephus: Hey, m*****f*****! or The whole "Do you know the punishment for a slave who strikes a Roman citizen?" bit or "El Al" on the ship's sail when they get to the port I guess I could just type up the whole script....crap, now I have to go watch it ag
  7. I seem to remember a 1/72 Eagle molded in blue from Revell back in the early 80s when I was a kid. It came with red & white stripe decals, maybe?
  8. I've been wondering about all the washes out there, too. I've used various colors thinned with water, soap & water, windex, alcohol, etc. How do these compare? The jaded part of me thinks it's just another ploy to separate me from my money LOL. (Like decal sets/sols. Haven't bought any in years. I generally use vinegar & water with a bit of future for set & straight 91% alcohol for sol, if needed. Those have worked pretty good on even the most recalcitrant decals. The alcohol can be scary the first time though :blink:/> )
  9. I think you need a "sometimes" up there, aside from "yes" or "no" :lol:/> I usually airbrush a base or prime coat of enamel before acrylics. I also sometimes use cheap generic primer from a rattle-can if it's a bigger model.
