I recently bought the California Air Tools 5.5 gal (aluminum tank) compressor, for well under $200. It's very quiet and extremely well rated.

You may be able to refuse the bequest. As far as I know, there is no law compelling you, or any other heirs, to accept the house or any other assets. You may want to consult a lawyer in Colorado (where I assume your mother died) to see if you can get out of a bad situation.

The Silhouette cutters with special blades might be able to handle that, depending on plastic thickness. This could be a cheaper alternative for you, if you can hook up with an owner and pay for the blade.

Let's hope he doesn't try the old "I didn't get what I paid for" or "the item was damaged!" routine. Cover yourself, this guy has form as a finagler.

Someone here seems to have a question for you based off one of your videos. Have you seen it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ33gqNbtt8 -
It was in the link, but for people who didn't choose to look at it: " 22/09/2010 17:34:47 582 forum posts 10 photos Hi Guys Just to clear up the confusion over the use of X-22 and when to use it I sent and e.mail to Tamiya And this is what they replied X-22 Clear Gloss is to be used as an additive to make a matt paint glossy. Use TS-13 Gloss Clear as an overcoat if you desire that kind of application. Flat, semi-gloss, and pearl clear sprays ar

Just one thing - X-22 is not designed to be used as clear coat on its own. Here's a link to a forum that contains an emailed answer from Tamiya re: proper use of X-22. http://www.militarymodelling.com/forums/postings.asp?th=42979

Your psi sounds a tad high. At 20-25 psi the primer could be drying before it hits the plastic. Try dialing it down to 15 or so and see what happens.

I think he ran out of question marks.

Hey D Bellis, You might have a point to make, but it's getting lost in your aggressive tone and your rudeness. People disagreeing with you doesn't excuse it. Dial it back, please. -
All looks good to me, both text and images. Beautiful models.

Fireball no longer does them, and the man who ran Red Pegasus died earlier this year.

Nothing like building a big straw man there, eh? Here's the problem for a lot of people: a great deal of valuable information has been lost, probably permanently. Want to see how someone did something with a kit you're building? Too bad. Photos are now gone. Is the person likely to go and pay $400 a year so he/she can have his photos back? Maybe not. So that's it. I've been looking at a lot of reviews, WIPs, and so on, and there's not a lot left. May not mean much to you, but I expect it meant a lot to other people.

Really? I mean, really? First, it was PB that decided to offer those services for free. They made that offer, nobody forced them. Nobody took advantage of them. Second, PB did nothing to let people know this might be happening, it was just done to them, and most can't do a thing about it. If you run a business, you really think it's OK to treat customers like this? Finally, I'd to point out that for an organization that made such a big stinking deal about 3rd-party linkings, they sure went out of their way to make it incredibly easy, didn't they? Again, if you run a business

"Testors do this as Voodoo Grey." Testors apparently discontinued Voodoo Grey some years ago. However, Lifecolor has a color which users indicate is a good match: http://store.spruebrothers.com/product_p/lfcua043.htm

I had a similar incident just the other day. 35mph speed limit, I was doing 41. Beat up little POS came *rushing* up behind me, then backed off. I first thought she (I saw her in the rear view) was just distracted, and hadn't seen me ahead of her. But then she did it *again.* And a *third* time. Finally, she overtakes at high speed, crossing a double-yellow line, waving her hand out the window and making the well-known salute. What was her big hurry? The Dollar Store.

I had good look taming stiff decals with a soft cloth dipped in hot water. Just dip, press, and hold.

I have the Fujimi kit and some P/E to go with it. It would be the first car I've done in over 30 years.

"Liquor stores have a policy of not chasing thieves out of the store. They have cameras right at the entrance and exit. Even if they see someone secreting bottles into bags or pockets or purses or backpacks, they are instructed by head office not to confront the thieves. Let them take the product and then call police. Wonder why booze prices are getting so high?!" Maybe they have that policy because a lot of liquor store robbers are armed? Better lost bottles than lost life.
