  1. Same here with my Iwata HP-CS,out the front - in the rear. Best way to prevent paint to accumulate in rear part.
  2. Thank you for advice,I will for sure try Flat Base with Future. As I can read ,many are very pleased with results.
  3. I got Badger Paint mixer and I used it for Humbrol cotes,so this can't be an issue. I don't know... Maybe some ideas on alternatives? Testors,Vallejo,Alclad.. ?

  5. Hi, I would like to know what I did wrong, because when I used Humbrol Satin cote on one model, and Humbrol Matt cote on other as finishing cote, they stay sticky. Not sticky by touch, but when I hold the model in my hand, and put it back ,I can feel stickines. Applied with paint brush. With Future (Klear) I didn't notice that kind of problem ,so I will use it as gloss finnis when needed. Maybe some advice what to use instead of Humbrol cotes for Satin and Matt finishes? If I recall correct, Matt cote I didn't thin, and with Satin I add a little Humbrol enamel thinner. Any advice will be ap
  6. Stencils was provided in kit, this one : http://www.creativemodels.co.uk/academy_148_mig29ub_russian_air_force-p-32488.html It's Cartograph ,excelent ones. Silvering is visible only on few places, but that was my fault because I didn't polish the paint enough ,there is some parts of the model where paint was rough,so Future wasn't able to level enough. Yep,this was my 3th kit. I learn a lot before start model making, so I got lot of theory ,but I'm in lack of practice :) Well, with new models I hope to improve a little. I just start to make HH-60J Jayhawk 1/48 (Skunkmodels),with Eduard
  7. Amazing work :) Is it possible to explain how did you make weathering? Maybe link to 'in progress' work?
  8. Thank you David,I tried to do my best.
  9. Thank you for kind words Yso. I try to do my best with my limited expirience, but hope to become better with new models. About mistakes... First one is on purpose, because I'm aware of it when assembly,I know how this system works, but I just can't help myself,it's so much better looking with grills opened :) If I ever achieve pro modeler status (in some 20 years) :) , then I will overcome my need for estetics :) Second mistake, that, I wasn't aware of. Thank you for that information,I appriciate it
  10. I can only hope that one day I will manage to make such amazing models, respect.
  11. Thank you for your kind words. It's really not the best kit to assembly, lots of bad joints, wrong panel lines, wrong parts...but I tried to do my best,as new modeller :) This forum is the best to learn ,and I hope that I will somehow manage to improve after few more assembled models. Few more pics:
  12. Hi, My second post, this time I like to show you my second model ever build,Huey. No aftermarket parts, all scratch work. On this model I try heavy weathering,it's good learning for future. I'm so not good in photography, but you got the idea. In real, I think Huey and my Mig-29 from another topic looks better. Need to learn that too :) So here it is:
  13. Hi, This is my first post, and I like to show my Mig-29 build. I must say that's my 3th model build ever,so be gentle :)/> I read a lot about model making, but I will need lot of practice work to achive decent work. For now I'm happy how this Mig looks. I used some aftermarket things like: - Eduard exhaust nozzles - Karaya cockpit set - Eduard exterior - Master model pitot tube Pictures:
