3 years ago, I received an F4F-3.... As you see, Galer's marking was blanked by black marker. Although being a Chinese modeller, it's a shock to me, for I had see same kit in hobby shop one year before. That time, no blank. Later, I heard about rising sun markings would be banned by customs. I don't know whether is true. "Face bowl factory"(an ironic nickname among Chinese modellers for Trumpeter/Hobbyboss) still releases JMSDF vessels today... During my trial, 75% alcohol hardly works on black markers, while Zippo will dissolve both marker and decal. So try Spruemeister's method.

sorry, academy kit's tail wheel strut needs to be replaced.

I hope not, but I'm afraid it is

On 2014 Model Exhibition in Beijing, I had a talk with Xuntong's represent, who told me IL-4 would release in May. Looking forward it. http://image227-c.poco.cn/mypoco/myphoto/20140521/10/17342918420140521102952063.jpgphoto here

ZDF does not produce these kits anymore. In PRC, the kits WERE very cheap, for a CF-100 or CF-105 is same price as an Italeri 72nd scale spitfire. But now... some issues are horrbly expensive, few private-owned CF-100/105s are over 380RMB---an Eduard profipack MiG-21 or Spitfire is about 300RMB in PRC. Is it worthy? I think not. Nearly all Chinese modelers have built ZDF kits, including me. The clear parts and decals are nightmare, nightmare. Only better than ICM decals.

some G-10s have large main wheels(660*190?) and bulges, but academy/hobbycraft's Bf109 series may have main wheels too broad?
-
Thanks. Here are detailed photos:from model-making.eu This "D-11" lacks outer-wing gun panel..also the bulge for MK108.It's strange that HB's Doras provides lower wing part with single chute for D-13,not two chutes for D-9.So.. you'll either fill it over(D-11) or drill another, while correcting original chute suitable to MG131,not MG151/20(D-9). However, VS9 propeller is offered, good news. In my opinion, HB designed this model based on Trimaster/DML kit(look at the seat and landing gears, how identical to DML's sprue M!) and Hasegawa 1/32nd kit(partly moulded engine).I don't know whether

By the way, how about Italeri/ESCI's 1/48 A-4E/F?
-
I've seen its sprue and decal's photo The outer-wing MK108's shell chute only represented by black square decals, how terrible... Marking schemes...well... DML's Fw190A-8(5502) produced in early 90s did not wipe off the supercharger intake for D-11/12/13,fortunately,I borrowed this part, fixed on their Fw190D-9. Then I removed upper gun panel and canopy from a damaged Fw190A-4,combined them to a D-11 Sorry for wrong-shaped propeller,I'll change it later..

sorry, there were something wrong in my memory...I found the arhttp://www.clubhyper.com/reference/rlm83darkbluemu_1.htm

I read an article on hyperscale about 2 months ago.The author researched on RLM73,made a conclusion that RLM73 is dark blue, with a Ju88 model
-
then...how to interpret camouflage on early Fw190D and some Bf109G-10/K-4(e.g. a K-4 from JG53) which consists 2 upper colours dark green and violet grey? The greyish colour is RLM75,that's no controversy. In older source,th dark green is RLM83(on Kagero's Fw190 vol.4,sme colour profiles note the colour is 82/75)A friend's opinion is"RLM83 replaced RLM74",but according to new research, would we call this scheme 81/75?or it's exactly 82/75 variation?
-
so, their F-100F is also terrible? Would u give some advice of 72nd kit, italeri or trumpeter?
-
Mr.Song...............Did he design the horrible 1/32nd Su-25? or 1/48th tornado? Then sth. is clear... By thw way, someone from trumpeter often swore modellers for their 'poor' skills,e.g.1/48 seahawk's canopy.I don't have this kit,but HB's 72nd seahawk also has to be kept canopy opened...
