  1. Time to toss the toy-like exhausts that come with the kit, and replace them with these affordable and accurate replicas! Plug and play – easy replacement – no scratchbuilding skills required! Perfect for the modeler looking to keep the engine cowlings closed, but while still maintaining a nice crisp, accurate appearance. A few strokes of the Xacto knife blade will remove the tiny support structure under the longitudinal clamp tightener - a few strokes of the sanding stick at the end that was removed from the casting block and, Voila - you're in business! 2. Thanks guys for your comments on the site - I am not super techy when it comes to code, but will see what I can do to improve the buyer experience.

  7. Some of my masters, fresh off of the printer - haven't been fully cleaned and prepped for casting yet; will give you an idea as to the level of detail in the R-2600 engine itself. Pictured are the crankcase, some front and rear cylinder heads, carburetor, supercharger housing, push rods and exhaust tubes. 8. Thanks - these are excellent photos - It was tough to find this particular angle! I see what you are saying now on the airflow director
  9. Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement! The design thankfully is in "beta" stage - plenty of time to tackle the details. I have a rough idea of how the lord dynamo mounts work, but need to get my hands on a copy of the Parts Catalog to nail down the placement of the cowling shroud and pressed steel slots as you have described - thank you for the feedback - very much appreciated! It was difficult to interpolate some of these since there were no decent shots in the E&M manual. I want this to be the superlative set, so any and all comments and help are welcome! More to come,
  10. Hello folks Hot on the heels of my R-2600 release in 1/48 next week, will be this 1/48 A-20 engine compartment super detail set - part of RESIN2detail's Ultimate Detail Series. Early test prints/fittings are very encouraging. Thought I would share some screenshots to show you the stage of the design and to get a pulse on the demand for this type of set. Thanks for looking Brian
  11. Hello! Following on the success of the Packard Merlin, RESIN2detail is nearing completion of the masters for their Wright R-2600. Will feature cutting edge detail and precision. Initially released in 1/48, it will be quickly followed up by 1/72 and 1/32 scale versions. Used in a number of aircraft, notably the B-25 Mitchell, A-20 Havoc and SB2C. I've attached a sneak peek which shows about 80% completion. More photos to follow in coming days as the masters are fabricated. Retail price for each 1/48 R-2600 kit tentatively set at $17.99. 1/72 at $13.99. 1/32 TBA. Thanks for looking! Br
  12. Hi - Thank you - sorry, guess I should have included that These are for the 1/48 Monogram kit ... I will scale down to 1/72 though (they would be 1 or 2 piece wheels at that scale, not three). I will also probably scale up to 1/32. If you are interested in 1/72, I will make the masters for you and get these ready over the next week or two. Brian
  13. Hey guys - Thank you - looking for the parts specific to the engine assembly. Thinking of designing an R-2600 engine superdetail set for the Havoc. I have the E&R manual, but I need a little more information on the cowling and different access panels, wing spars, engine mounts etc. Thank you in advance for any help you could provide! Brian
  14. Hello! Does anyone here have access to this or know where I can locate an electronic copy? Thanks in advance, Brian

I configured it to fit in the Tamiya mustang. I am definitely eyeing the big radials for the next couple of projects. R-1820, 3350, etc. Will keep you posted! Brian

  20. Hello! I am working on a 1/48 kit for Resin2detail.com that required a Bristol Pegasus engine, so I designed this one. It comprises of about 60 individual pieces. I realize that CMK already makes one, but I needed to design one anyway, so I figured why not cast some copies to see if there is any interest. They were designed in 3D and printed in high resolution. In the photos, the pieces appear to be "wet" because they are fresh off of the printer. All have received an alcohol bath and are drying and will be crisp and ready to cast this weekend. Production will begin next week. I'll ad

  24. Hey guys Added some photos of the my P-59 prints to the Model Cave Hope y'all like There is some dust on the prints for which I apologize ... extreme closeups not the most flattering I realize in retrospect but a brutally honest representation of them. Not a terrible first start though ...
