The one thing you can not find anywhere :)
Sgt Shultz II replied to breadneck's topic in General Discussion
My mind! I had it just a minute ago -
There seem to be numerous makers of F-4's on the market. ESCI/ERTL, Monogram, Revell, Testors, Academy, Eduard and more. Has anyone done a comparison of all these different kits?? Best detail, best accuracy, weapons and seats? Thanks Ron

Sgt Shultz II replied to Sgt Shultz II's topic in The Spares Box - add scale to your title
Hi Chris they are parts 48,49,50 and 51 step 7, A & B Ron -
I'm in need of several ECM pods that came with the 1/48th scale Monogram F-4C. There are two different pods in the kit and I need 3 of each one. I have a couple 1/72 scale kits I can trade or buy them. Please P.M. me here and we'll work something out. Thanks Ron

P.M. sent on the T-33 -
That has to be an old picture since they are using F-16's for target drones as all the F-4's are gone, supposedly.

1/35 scale Armor decals and rank for figures
Sgt Shultz II replied to Sgt Shultz II's topic in Armor General Discussion
Thanks Don. Just what the doctor ordered! -
I have one of these coming and an Eduard detail set as well. I built one many years ago and remember it had a gear train for motors. If they still come with it then how did you deal with it? Any plans for the cupola glass? Does anyone have pictures of the belly of this tank? What other accessories are made for this kit?

Looking for Hasegawa 1/48 RF-4B/C
Sgt Shultz II replied to Sgt Shultz II's topic in The Spares Box - add scale to your title
I'm actually after the nose and cameras. I have the Aires kit #4231 but it incorporates parts from the Hasegawa kit like the side windows and high alt station window. You can't close the doors either as they don't fit, they are oversized for added details. So if anyone has a junked Hasegawa RF-4 I need the nose and cameras.... -
The camera bays had silver mylar covered blankets. The cameras were mounted on doors that were raised into the camera bay. The windows have a steel, probably titanium frame around them. We installed them after uploading the cameras. Just prior to start up we removed the red metal covers over the windows. The panel in the front of the nose gear well was removeable. That was where the TROC camera went. There was a blank square panel installed on the bottom of the nose if no camera was installed. Same with the other camera stations, blank panels were fitted into the window openings if no camera

The RF-4B has thin wings and skinny main gear tires where the RF-4C had Thick or bulged wings and fat main gear tires as they are ground based Air Force planes. I believe the B model also had slotted horizontal stabs and the C did not. If you took the fuselage from the B and used the wings, gear and horizontal stabs from the F-4C you would end up with an RF-4C.

Has anyone used this set for a Testors/ Italieri RF-4C kit? Does the Hasegawa kit come with cameras or is it just an empty nose? Does it come with pilots?

Looking for 1/32 J.A.S.D.F. F-86F-40 Decals
Sgt Shultz II replied to DONG's topic in The Spares Box - add scale to your title
Don I have a sheet that's fairly new unfortunately 2 of the decals are slightly damaged from the clear parts poking them from the back side of the sheet. I don't think it's something you can't work with. The worst damage is one of the 72-7764 and one of the number 23 decals has a slight bulge from the back but the decal seems fine. Interested?? you can P.M. me here Ron -
A while back they posted they are going to build a 1/32 Coleman Tug and would also have decals for the -60 power unit. Has anyone heard any more about them?? I am in need of both, well I want the tug but need the decals.. Ron
