  1. I'm interested in the 1/32 set with El Toro Bravo for sure!! When will they be available and where do I get them???
  2. anybody have some 1/32 aircrew or seated pilots they aren't using I'd be interested in buying or dealing for them. Mostly looking for WWII US but can work with just about anything.
  3. I'm in need of 4 Navy or straight nose weapons pylons. Can trade Air Force curved nose pylons or buy out right. Prefer Tamiya type but other brands may do. P.M. me here or email ronbo070@yahoo.com
  4. What is the difference between the seats from an F-4C and an F-4J? I have a bunch of seats and they all look alike to me.
  5. I have some Cutting Edge seamless intakes I plan to use as well. My first attempt at something like that. I have 5 1/32 scale Phantoms to build. 1 RF-4C (new mold), 1 F-4E (new mold), 2 RF-4B's (old mold) and the 1 F-4E made up from parts I got on ebay. The parts bird is the one I am back dating. I have cockpits from three New mold Revell RF-4C kits and a couple of Tamiya F-4's, seamless intakes for 4 birds and some Verlinden RF-4 cockpit sets as well as pitot tube sets and who knows what else. I figured building the E model from parts would be a challenge but you guys have done so many thin
  6. I recently got a bunch of spare parts when I bought a 1/32 RF-4C on ebay and have since scrounged up almost a whole kit (still need outer wings). Anyway what I wanted to do was back date the F-4E Mig Killer to an early version without the slatted wings, basically a 67 year model. From my research I found out the slotted elevators were added in 1968 and the slotted wings were added in 1970. My bird will be made up to the standards of 68 so the slotted elevators will remain. The wing leading edge of the main wing should be okay as is but the slotted outer wing will either need to be replaced or
  7. Anybody got a wrecked 1/32nd scale Revell F-4E or spare parts from one?? I need a pair of intake ramps, slatted elevators, a tail hook, throttle handles, outer wings and maybe more. PM me here or email ronbo070@yahoo.com Thanks
  8. Anybody got one for sale or possible trade?? ronbo070 on ebay 100% favorable feedback
  9. I'm looking for the Dangerous RF-5E conversion kit in 1/32 scale. I really want one of these kits so please check your stashes and we can work something out. Thanks for looking! You can stop laughing now! lol
  10. I've been reading up on bomb markings and found that after 1967 navy bombs were coated with a rough finish fire retardent. The pictures shows how rough the finish can be. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0a/Mark82Bomb.JPEG & http://previewcf.turbosquid.com/Preview/Content_2009_07_14__07_11_00/mk82usn_01.jpgcaa44e58-66cc-40f9-a613-f3ff04878845Larger.jpg Now the $64 dollar question is does someone make them in 1/32 scale???
  11. I like them because it was the first plane I worked on in the Air Force. I think all the above reasons also apply but to me it was the last jet that wasn't fly by wire or computer controlled. Analog vs digital if you will.

  13. Anybody know where I can find one of these conversion kits?????
  14. LOW FLIGHT Oh! I’ve slipped through the swirling clouds of dust, a few feet from the dirt. I’ve flown the Phantom low enough to make my bottom hurt. I’ve TFO’ed the deserts, hills, valleys and mountains, too. Frolicked in the trees where only flying squirrels flew; chased a frightened cow along, disturbed the ram and ewe, and done a hundred other things that you’d not care to do. I’ve smacked the tiny sparrow, bluebird, robin, all the rest, I’ve ingested baby eaglets, simply sucked them from their nests! I’ve streaked through total darkness, just the guy in back and me, and s
  15. How about taking some pictures for those of us (Me) to see what needs to be done for mods. What seats are you guys using??
  16. I need an AN/ALQ 87 from a Tamiya F-4C/D kit if someone has one they aren't using. I also need a napalm canister or 2 from the Trumpeter F-105. Drop me a line at ronbo070@yahoo.com
  17. I have the Hasegawa Shark Nose F-5E with aggressor markings. Which decals are you looking for? There are markings for 2 different birds. Don't have a pictures but it's kit number 08066 if that helps. Ron
  18. I am building a couple of RF-4C's that were stationed at Udorn RTAFB when I was there in 69-70. To make them period correct I need some ECM pods as the planes I worked on had the AN/ALQ 87 on the right pylon and the AN/ALQ 101(v)3 on the left pylon. Scale is 1/32. I would also like o make a "travel pod" which could be hung on a pylon for crew baggage. I seem to remember they were made from modified napalm canisters but don't know for sure so any info would be appreciated.
  19. The RF-4C with the Shark Teeth was in the 14th TRS (Tactical Recon Squadron) at Udorn RTAFB. All of the 14th birds had the Playboy bunny on the intake ramps. Squadron Code was OZ. The other squadron we had was the 11th TRS whose Squadron code was OO. Tail tip color was red for the 14th and dark blue (AF Blue) for the 11th. When I was there 1969-70 we had no birds with Pave Tac so no control stick on the right console.
